Please stop the pessimism and the thinking this is just OBD taking one step out the door in trying to move the team. It's quite the opposite.
This move is a way to extend the fan base, merch sales, corp sponsorships, tickets, etc. to a market much bigger than Buffalo and (probably) Rochester combined.
It's the only way to make the Bills more competitive from a financial standpoint and will ultimately be one of the key initiatives that helps keep the Bills in Orchard Park, longterm.
Is sacrificing one home game/year (which is still a drivable distance, btw) really that big of a deal when the team is still in Orchard Park in 2020?
