Hamilton Not On Board: Hamilton Ti-Cats owner Bob Young says his team is not on board with the Bills playing eight games in Toronto. He would like to see a more extensive agreement between the NFL and CFL not a move by an owner to play games in Canada. With Hamilton not on board they won't be part of the initial ticket surge. The Argonauts season ticket holders will get first crack at tickets while the Bills season ticket holders will now get second shot with Hamilton out of the picture

Good news for people in WNY who have money and travel time. The cost upfront takes me out, otherwise I'd travel for a game if we're in playoff contention.

My question is would it be a good or bad thing if the Toronto idea is a hudge flop? i mean if they don't sell a ton of tickets and the stadium is half empty. I also wonder is the game in Toronto outside the black out area for Buffalo?

I live 30 miles east of Toronto, and if a bills game does not sell out, it gets blacked out.

the game will sell out. the corporate suits will buy up all the tickets. 2 grand is chump change for the major corporations in toronto.

I live in Durham Region which is now part of the GTA..

Where in the Durham region... it's still way to far from the downtown core imo. When did Durham become a member of the GTA? As of right now I only see these places...

East York
Etobicoke
North York
Old Toronto
Scarborough
York

All close to the Downtown Core.. Durham region has places like Oshawa and pickering... too far... I need proof... Don't take this negatively, but durham region is full of folk hick peeps. You guys probably have hockey rinks in your backyards, not quite the same in the GTA areas.

45 minutes by train? Jeez... that isn't apart of Toronto! If that's apart of Toronto might as well add Niagara Falls as a part of Toronto!

you can guarantee Buffalo (and western NY) will be in the Toronto black out zone

because Toronto is blacked out when Buffalo is not a sell out

FYI Durham region and mostly Whitby is a huge bedroom community of Toronto.. Not much different then Toronto my friend...Most of the people living here are from Toronto and work there also, so I guess they are a bunch of folk hick peeps whatever that is suppose to mean. And Pickering too far? that town borders on Scarborough. And I bet you I could get downtown faster on the GO Train from Whitby, then anyone driving from the North End of the City

Sorry to nitpick, but yes Durham Region is part of the GTA.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Toronto_Area

The places you list made up the old Metro Toronto, which is now just Toronto.
