I was sick over letting Nate Clements walk last season. Winfield, Pat Williams, Clements......... I'm tired of letting our better young players walk!!!

As for McGahee, don't get me wrong, I love Marshawn and wouldn't trade him for anyone - he's going to be special. BUT, if we had extended McGahee we still had a Pro Bowl caliber RB and we could have drafted a CB like Revis from the Jets or filled another need. Now, we would be looking a fewer missing pieces to the puzzle.

If the bleeding stopped with McGahee and Clements I would be thrilled.

Every day that goes by without re-signing Lee Evans and Angelo Crowell has me more worried that they will hit free agency and that will set us back even further.

We need to act now to solidify our future. We need to build the foundation and without a long term deal for Evans we are spinning our wheels.

I say forget the UFA's out there and focus on keeping our own!!! Keep drafting well and holding on to our best young players and we will win the Super Bowl sooner than later.

I agree, but why is this in the "Toronto Initiatve Forum?"

Don't think I mentioned T.O. in this post butif it means having the money to keep players like Evans in the future AND keep the team in Buffalo - all for it.

The point is that we keep building without any more setbacks.

It didn't seem like McGahee wanted to be extended. Didn't you hear his comments after he left? He didn't like Buffalo. Even if Buffalo had tried to extend him, Willis probably would have refused and left in FA this offseason. Not worth it imo.

draft day always

I honestly dont care if we get rid of Lee Evans.....and when he puts up similar numbers next year....you people will want him out of town anyways.
