(Sorry for the typo in the title but I can't figure out how to change it)

But any chance the Bills select Trevor Laws in the 3rd round in the upcoming draft? I don't know much about college football, but I was up late watching a replay of the senior bowl on NFL network and this kid looks good.

I'd love to see the draft go:

1) Keith Rivers -OLB
2) Fred Davis - TE
3) Trevor Laws - DT
3b) Steve Justice C
4) Owen Schmitt FB

(Assuming we address WR in FA)

Anyone have any reasons why Trevor Laws would or would not be a good fit in Buffalo?

Nice mock. We are pretty close. I love Laws. He played for an awful team yet he never quit. He had over 100 tackles as a DT. That is outstanding!

Hah I actually almost put Bowman there instead of Justice but I don't know a lot about him. If he has the potential to come in and be a solid #2 receiver I'd be all for that pick too.

Not that I know much about what I'm talking about but I do hope Buffalo gets Laws in the 3rd. He seems like he'd have the ability to help our pass rush as well as eat up double-teams to free up McCargo. (Would McCargo and Laws be able to line up next to each other? Or do they both play the same position?)

In the 4-3 it really don't matter, but no they don't play the same technique. McCargo would be the guy to eat up blocks and Laws is the high motor guy that will make the tackles on the inside rushes.

I thought Laws had a great Senior Bowl. His speed and hustle in open space was what stood out to me the most. I think he'd be the steal of steals if he is there in the 4th, but most likely a 3rd round pick.

very close to my own mock:
1. Rivers
2. Rodger-Cromartie CB
3. Trevor Laws
3. Jermichael Finley TE
4. Schmitt
5. John Sullivan C
etc.

i've been high on laws since the senior bowl too. he should be there and i hope we get him. laws and finley are like the two main guys i want.

You should have put Bowman instead of Justice. Justice is not an upgrade over Fowler. Justice would not improving our running game unless we play a zone blocking scheme, which was proven to be unsuccessful this past year.

Just because he is the top rated centre does not mean he is a fit... research...

Prediction: Aaron Merz wins the starting centre job in training camp.

Big fan of Travor Laws if we landed him in the 3rd i would be happy we just need to see what happens in f/a first.

Hmmm....makes me question a couple of my wants...

One things for certin...we better get SOMEONE new either via trade or FA or the draft to play DT...
