Rivers isn't really the QB I wanted to get, but every other QB with a decent rating didn't start 16 games, and I want a good QB that can play.

yeah that Thomas pick was excellent. I'm biased, but I like my Jared Allen pick at #11 in the 2nd though LOL And Romo at #7 overall, thought for sure the 1st rd would go brady, manning, romo, peterson, LT.

A little bit on Plax. Good numbers, TD's, and salary, but age.... probably could have been gotten in 3rd or 4th. You never know... what makes it bad value, IMO, is how much he gave up to get that pick.

The players we wanted for our first rounder were Brees. We wanted Sanders but we couldn't find a trading partner in the first. I PMed a good 10-12 teams about trading but no one built. Couldn't imagine a better first day. Got the two guys we wanted, and I really expected Sanders to be gone in the first round.

Didn't even have Freeney on my board. Only played 9 games, 3.5 sacks, 21 tackles.... bad current pick IMO, good future pick IMO

Merriman is definitely athletic enough to play OLB in a traditional 4-3 IMO

Thanks Sledge. I think Having Favre at $7.8 mil will guarantee healthy QB production, (no injuries, top 5 QB at #17), and finding a good up-n-comer QB will be a good value for next year, while unloading a TON of cap room next year.

Saturday is going to anchor my O Line for the next 3 years. He's only 31 and he's still the most dominant interior lineman in the game.

I'll take it...I give myself a B+, only because I really wanted Addai, but Saturday is a good trade-off option.:thumbsup:

I thought that too, until I saw rivers go in the second, who i had a third round grade on, and I couldn't take any chances, I had to make the move to get Burress, who I had graded very high.

I don't think the sim software goes that far in depth, besides, Merriman could actually work as a 4-3 Dlineman
