Who cares.

Our very conservative front office picked him. No chance it's a big deal.

I cringed when I heard Mayock talk about his work ethic. Ever since Mike Williams I have hated when I hear that about a player on the Bills.

One of the Chicago commentators (who has no axe to grind either way) said that a lot of people misunderstand Hardy. He's a real laid back personality. Some people mistake that for not caring. The commentators opinion was that Hardy works on the field, which is all that matters.

Our conservative front office traded for and Kept Anthony Hargrove.

HE BEAT A WOMAN and then ACTIVLY INTERFERED WITH THE INVESTIGATING OFFICER. I'm sorry but that is a big deal

Hardy is talking on WGR right now. Sounds like a good kid. Had a very tuff upbringing. Excited about coming to Buffalo.

Welcome Big James!

I know alot of people who had tuff upbringings, and don't wind up beating a woman and child, then interfering with a police investigation of the incident.

Yep, you're right, dude.

He should be doomed for the rest of his life. He should never get a chance again. He should be forgotten by society.

C'mon - I'm not making excuses for him. And neither is he. He owns up to his wrong-doing - and says it's in his past.

Give the kid a break.

EXACTLY. He is very laid back and people instantly translate that into laziness. NOT TRUE! Hardy was one of, if not the hardest working player on the Indiana Hooisers.

Character issues in 2006. Do people not realize that he WAS a young college student and that people often MATURE during their time in college.

Hardy was one of the biggest role models for this season's Hoosiers. He led by example and gave everything he got on the field.

Honestly know your facts about the guy before you go just accusing him of being a bad person, because he is far from it.

People said Marshawn had character issues. Worked out OK for the Bills so far. I'll give the guy a chance to show us what he's got and what kind of a person he is.

but if that trangression was ANYONE other than a Bills Draft pick you'd say how dumb the team was for getting a woman beater. Just because someone is wearing the charing buffalo doesn't mean he's instantly absolved of his wrong doings. This "team of character" traded for Anthony Hargrove after he was demoted because he went AWOL on a few practices and decided it wasn't important to explain it to his coach. then he assults a police officer as a bill, then gets suspended for 4 games on substance abuse. then he gets a year suspension for substance abuse. and after every transgression the team stood by anthony, and it's my undterstanding that we are retaining his rights. So I guess Hardy will fit right in with this team.
