He plays alot slower.

kind of hard to play slower if you are actually faster, isn't it?

He's a Big 10, played in the north, receiver. I am not going to second guess OBD and it was sweet to have our pick. The more I saw Devin Thomas with Drew Rosenhaus, the better I feel!!

Basically Hardy did much more with very little around him. Sweed and Kelly come from great football schools where top talent comes in every single year, neither really separated themselves from their teammates. Hardy, in the defensive minded Big 10 was the only guy on his offense that was a playmaker and was catching passes from a very average QB and he still ended up with the stats and the yards and the catches, even though he is being double and triple teamed.

Anyone who thinks that 40-times translate directly onto the field needs to get their heads checked. It's an interesting stat, but it's importance is blown way out of proportion.

mark my words, hardy will be the best out of all of them. he is bigger, better, stronger. i mean seriously never had anytype of injury problem. that is what buffalo needs an aggresive and tuff player who does not talk a big game, but his game says all the words.

Kellen Lewis was far from an average quarterback, lets get that straight. But still, Lewis had no other weapons besides Hardy, and at times, Hardy did make up for inaccurate throws made by Lewis.

Hardy also had 33 TD's in 36 ganmes. Thats an AWESOME TD ratio, and did it against major programs. Thats impressive. Also a greater than 14 yrd ave per catch over his career.

I have to admit that I was looking at D.thomas and J.Nelson because they were big enough and they were both gritty tough.I was looking at Sweed and Kelly because they were big and agile.
Hardy is big and if he can be tough,he will do nicely.
I do have to say "show me" on both picks so far.
I have watched both highlight films and my fear is that the bigger, faster, stronger NFL players will give both of them fits.Of course as a Bills fan I hope I am more wrong than right.
The only thing I got going for me right now is my faith in our scout and evaluation people.

Look at the highlights - Hardy catches the type of jump balls we need because we don't have that skill - Thomas is good but more of a YAC guy. Sweed is good and performed well against good comp - maybe not as aggressive going for the ball as Hardy.

I like the pick - could have lived with Thomas or Sweed at 41.

Who will we take in 3rd - TE?
