This guy Hardy is a mix between Randy Moss and Antonio Gates...Who's gonna cover him...
How do you cover a guy 6.6 who runs a 4.5 and uses his body like a basketball player...
What a nightmare for our opponents...And jackpot for out team...
You got Lee on the outside....Parrish and Reed inside, and Marshawn and Fred in the backfield...Then Trent getting the ball out with his lightening quick release....
Can not wait for July baby....The steal of the draft is in Buffalo...

I know, I can't wait to see him in a Bills uni! :-)
I'm surprised the run on receivers didn't start earlier.

let's hope...but WRs are still a relative crapshoot when compared to most other positions.
Either way, given the last few drafts, I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to T-mo and OBD

Just from a pure size standpoint, I just can't see him missing...He's huge, a freak...Unguardable...The fact he was a high recruit by Indiana hoops tells you what kinda of beast your dealing with trying to guard....

Absolutely..I thought we would have gone Sweed with our second round pick..however, I have no problem with giving them trust in picking the right players for our team.

i would have like any of the wideouts available because I am putting my trust in modrak & co after the past two seasons

and then he scrubbed out of the program.
The problem with the comparison to moss\gates is that both of these players are willing to go the extra mile to make the play. for the tape on hardy it doesn't appear he is as willing.

Modrak and co were also responsible for Mike Williams... after the past 8 years I have no reason to trust anything this front office does. Especially just for the reason our front office did it

modrak was an assistant to TD then and that was our only bad player taken with our first pick since then, Modrak had more say as a scout the past two years under levy and now he is the director of scouting and i trust his decisions over anyones at this point

Every GM in the league would have picked Williams their too...He was thought of by all experts as a can't miss fixture at tackle...Can't fault him for that.

Wow, ***? Are you kidding? They drafted Lynch, Poz, and Trent last year, which will be the cornerstones for this team for many years. Now they go out and get the best CB to replace the overhyped/overpaid Nate Clements and the most CONSISTENT wide receiver in the draft. You really have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Look at Randy Moss' production for the two years he was in Oakland. Its all about the situation. People that he didn't try anymore and was washed up, etc. Then the Pats get him, and he breaks Jerry Rice's record for touchdown catches. Hardy is gonna play alot harder now that he is in the NFL and on a contender.

well in moss's case if its his play otherwise he might as well be on the bench.

Just like teams covered every other 6'6" 4.51 WR to come in the NFL, get a man on him and he doesn't seperate because of lack of burst.
Plenty of large WRs flop in the NFL, more often than not I'd say.
Moss/Gates? LMAO!!! That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.
I like Hardy as a 2nd round pick, but come down to earth lol... if the guy was this good, he wouldn't be the 4th WR taken in the 2nd round.

Please.... you're comparing a rookie 2nd round pick to the two best players in the NFL at their respective positions???? Please....
This guy could be Joe Jurevicius or Alex Bannister....

I've heard a lot of ridiculous things in my time... this one is right up there near the top.

...hopefully.

Tom Brady was taken in the 6th round.

Hardy is a freakin Man Mountain. Good luck trying to cover him! I do not think there is a corner above 6'1" in our divison.
Thus that is 6 games right there, where Hardy should be able to exploit the other teams secondary!

He said he was "gonna make Buffalo proud." I have no doubt hes gunna try his absolute best to do that. The kid has faced adversity his whole life and wants to prove people wrong one more time. This is the same thing I love about McKelvin. The 11th pick and hes still thinks he gets no respect!
