I think this pick tells us two things
A. Try to bring in more depth in the secondary so we are more affective against the spread offense.(i.e. New England)
B. At this point we will not take a Te and I am HAPPY about that. Wheres the value in a TE even in this round. Tes have been flying off the board. Whens the last time 5 good tes came out of a draft class anyways. We missed fred davis and dustin keller. Why take another subpar te we already have 3. Its obvious we tried to improve through free agency and itd be stupid to bring in another te if the value isnt there. give courtney and teyo a shot! Then get a stud te early next year if they dont work out when we have less pressing needs.

I agree on both accounts. We do not need a TE when the difference makers are gone. You don't draft a position simply because of "need" when they players remaining are not that good.
Royal and Teyo are going to be better this coming season than any TE we could have selected there.

I agree. This pick will bring nice depth to the CB position.

Teyo is a retread who wasnt even in football last year.
Martin Rucker will be a fine NFL TE, and was available

No he wasn't. Cleveland jumped ahead of us and took Rucker.

This pick should have been used at the very least to put some pressure on a starting position, but we totally wasted it.

Give me your downtrodden, and rebuked, the stone discarded. This guy is now close to my favorite Bill. I want to prove something here about this thing.
I remember another small school cb who when drafted by Buffalo in the 4th round, was so not expecting to be drafted that early, or at all, that he was woken up by Bill's staff when they called. And his response was "I'm surprised, you didn't have to do that".
Anybody remember which Bills player i am talking about?
