I guess Omon is alright. But we really didn't need a RB.

True, he is a playmaker. Didn't need him the most though. I'm not really that disapointed, its just that we could have drafted a ture FB or a good TE. He could play FB though. Alot of mismatch if he did that.

Fine, Omon, Bowen, Wendling, Ellison, Digi, Wilson, Ellis, Roscoe, McGee, McKelvin... we're going to have the best ST of all time

we're going to have to score some how

i really do think this is the point.

obviously the staff feels comfortable with the depth at certain positions that theyre using the draft to fill in for our ST aces who are gone

Stamer, Haggan, Aiken all gone. These new guys are gonna have to fill in

I ***'ed on this pick for a couple minutes but then I thought, you can never have too many running backs. Running backs can drop like flies and it's not that uncommon for a team to be stuck with a third string running back or worse. If he can play fullback or special teams, that's even better.

Im not going to hold the small college factor against him, think of Andre Reed, Jerry Rice & TO.

This is a 6th round pick, if he become a special teams players who plays a few games at running back and sticks with the team for a few years than it was a good choice.

Yeah, I agree. By the way people are reacting, you'd think we took him at #11 instead of #179. Now I'm just hoping we get a good QB prospect...

I really like this pick alot. He's very strong and sturdy and will serve as a fullback role, although he's very fast for a fullback. I wonder if he is any good at blocking?

There may be a loss of sheer violence, with Wire, Stamer, and Neufeld gone, but the team speed of Special Teams is going to be something to watch. You can really see the hand of Bobby April behind the scenes in all the later picks.

we can't keep too many special team only players though. a 4th RB? i still haven;t heard that he can acutally play FB, and i don't see how we keep 4 RB's.

I think we did need a RB. Dwayne Wright didn't show the quickness or burst necessary to play in the NFL. I'd hate to see him the #2 back if Lynch or Jackson get injured.

Omon reminds me of Thurman Thomas. Watch out Beast Mode!

Someone had to say it.

He is a good blocker actually. The site has him listed at the wrong size. Omon is actually 5'11 about 228. The guy is solid as can be and looks much smaller than his weight, but is very strong and sturdy for sure.

You can never have enough running backs especially if your starter gets drunk and starts clipping pedestrians! Besides I saw this kid play in high school and college, and I swear to you that he is the real deal! T.D. was a sixth round steal for the Broncos and now Buffalo got the next one!!!!!!!!
