What's the difference between these two?

I think they got this guy for Special teams. Although the fact he's a RB could push Dwayne off the roster.

If anything, he's 2008 version of "alot to talk about but never played", the bucky brooks phenomenon.

Initially he is an ST player, probably bumping Mario Haggan from the roster. I don't think they cut Wright: he was a 4th rounder last year. But if any RB is injured, Omon becomes the #3 RB, and that can happen. A Wright/Omon decision doesn't have to be made this year.

So, if Bowen replaces Stamer on the roster and on ST, Omon replaces Haggan on ST. With guys like this, and with McKelvin running back punts or kickoffs, the Bills are going to wind up with one of the fastest special teams squads in the NFL.

Just looking at the video alone you can tell that the kid has more burst and agility than Dwayne Wright and he's similarly built. I'm interested to see what the kid can do!

I hope Omon takes Wright's spot. In the limited caries Wright got he played pretty bad.

The pick doesn't make a lot of sence, if you ask me, and the reason is to be found in the fact that we aren't in a need of RB's to say it straighforward, which is why I have a hard time seing this guy even making our team, but I've been surprised before, so it might just happen as well this time. Only time will tell...

I absolutely love the first day of the draft, which I'd describe as splendid, though the second day was sort of disapointing at least from a talent point of view, though there's a lot of these players that were thought as underrated under the radar type of players, and they could turn out to be steals.
My personal favorite of the second day drafted - if you say it that way - who might be a nice surprise would probably have to be Steve Johnson, who has got a big upside and a very nice and adequate size. He's also really fast, and has got pretty good hands, so he might be a pleasant surprise for us. Just wait and see...

I think Dwayne is now on the outside looking in. I know he hasn't played a down yet, but Omon had 2,300 yards and 37 touchdowns last year. He's also the only back ever to run for over 1,500 yards 4 consecutive seasons in NCAA history. He is going to be a great asset in the redzone, and that's pretty much what we drafted this year, guys that can score touchdowns.

I sort of hope Omon makes it and Wright doesn't, if it comes down to that. Bit unfair, because Wright didn't really get a chance. But I really like the look of Omon.
