For some reason I really Like the Derek Fine pick, seems like a guy who catches anything and runs great routes.

If the dude is going to be in position and catch the football i am good with the pick. we dont need a te that will go 90 yards everytime he gets it...we just need a te that can run past the marker and catch a first down ball.

I would have much rather had a playmaking tight end like kellen davis instead of a slow blocking tight end like the ones we always have.

Fine is going to be a good football player. Just because the guy does not have the big name... do not forget Davis was passed over for another TE before being picked up.

i just think fine would have been there in the 5th or maybe even the 6th. i also don't understand all the attention to the secondary, i know we had a lot of injuries last year but come on! we should have used that 4th to move back up in the 2nd to take bennett (who dallas doesn't even need with witten there)

Seems like he's a guy with good hands. Not a huge downfield threat, but will hold on to the ball if hit going over the middle and such. So I'm Fine with the pick!

Though I'm wondering why we didn't take Kellen Davis

Great. But tell me one reason why he's better than Kellen Davis, who was still on the board. I'm pretty sure Davis does everything better.

Obviously the coaches and scouts, you know the people who's job this is, thought differently.

Because he was the best player on the Bills board at that point. It's really not that hard.

Really? You know what was on all the other boards? That's amazing. You should be working in broadcasting. Or perhaps selling these secrets to teams across the league....
