this guy i thought was a crap pick but check out his highlight video he scores everytime he touches the ball. i know he played in a lower class but wow he tore all of them up. i think wright may be in trouble. what do you guys think of him?

Ok, it was the SIXTH ROUND. I don't really care that the guy played D-II...look at the numbers. I'm guessing OBD liked the guy, and came up with something like, "well, if he's sitting there in the 6th, we'll take him". And you know what? I have absolutely no problem with that.

yeah really. People are freaking out. Oh my god we used a 6th round pick on a talented player! We should have drafted a 3rd string o-linemen who can block on extra points, but not field goals, cause the defense tries to block them.

Come on...........horrible over reactions is right. The kid is obviously very talented and is worth a 6th round gamble

If camp goes well, Jackson will be Omon's main competition...not Wright. And as far as being slow: you might look a little slow if you'd carried the ball 30 times already that game, and a fresh LB just came in the play before. When Omon is fresh, he makes 4.5 40 LB's look like 5th graders. Literally all the plays where he looks slow on film, he's already carried the ball over 20 times, and has somewhere north of 150 yards tacked into the books.

The man was a workhorse in college, and has the natural talent to be great in the NFL. I'm looking forward to seeing him play this year.

when the defenses he's going up against look like they suck, it's not the level of competition he's playing, it's him making them look bad

I just want to make one point known, Northwest Missouri's offense was a run and gun before Xavier got there. He's enough of a talent for their program to change their offense. If he came from a big program, he would have been 3rd round or higher.

Wow ... he really knows how to use his blockers and make his cuts behind them. He gives the illusion of going one way allowing his blockers to get in front and then cuts right off them. Very smart runner reminds me a lot of Terrell Davis.

I didn't have an issue with this pick, as when D. Wright had opportunities last season he didn't impress. I certainly don't think Fred Jackson should be shaking in his boots, but Omon's highlight film is very respectable. Does anyone have a 40 time on him?

4.59 with a hyper-extended knee. Ran 4.5 last fall I believe before injury. I think he'll run faster after training camps and coaches get a hold of him.
