I remember him at the combine and remembering his cool dreads. The announcers said "He has the look but does he have the speed" before he ran the 40. I hope he makes the team - he looks great on film. Very elusive and good at cutting.

I said on another post...he'll be another Sam Aiken...great on special teams...BUT...I have a feeling he will contribute more on the offensive side of the ball as well. Good pick!

Yes, HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE fan of Stevie. I will be purchasing his jersey as soon as it is available after he makes the team.

I was so pumped that we picked this guy! I had him on my "sleepers" list.
Check him out here.

He;ll be our number 3 by year's end. The kid is clutch. His strength is the slot, and will leap frog "butterfingers" Reed without much effort I think. And I find it funny he had nearly as good a year as Devin Thomas, but he goes in the 7th, Thomas in the 2nd. We have a steal.

I agree, I think if not by the end of this season, at least by next he will be our number 3 WR and dumbass Reed will be off of our football team. I say good to that. Reed is old now and he has never really done anything for us, I cannot remember a great play he has made.

Your evaluation of Reed is so far off,I can't help but wonder a lot about your evaluation of Johnson.

how about the washington game where we were stuffed in our endzone with seconds on the clock, trent threw a pass to josh and he made the catch...to even say u cant think of a highlight of josh, makes me think u dont watch buffalo games..in a blink if someone asked me name a highlight of last years games, that is the one on the top of the list with out question..although i understand what u are saying josh hasnt really lit up buffalo..

ya josh probably hasnt lived up to his potential as a 2nd round pick but to say he should be off the team means that you dont watch bills games. Josh reed is by far are best blocking reciever and he makes some tough catches on third downs. In fact, without looking at the any stats in front of me, I would venture to guess that he had the most third down conversions of any of our recievers in the last two years.

My girlfriend is from lexington, and I've become a wildcats fan , basketball and last years football program took HUGE strides. Johnson was "clutch" and just might make this squad, if Josh regains his butter on his fingers, and johnson can help on ST.
We hope so..
Does anyone know if this is our first Kentucky Bill?

Even if he doesn't get in the game in the middle of the field, he proved in college that he could be a good red zone threat.....You don't need great speed in the redzone you simply need great agility and athleticism.
Imagine a redzone threat with Evans, HArdy, Johnson and Lynch in the backfield.
Thats tons better than last year with Roscoe or Reed just because of size let alone leaping ability.
