Not as concerned with his individual numbers as I am with what he can potentially do to change the defense that we face. Could make our running game better?

as long as he comes up big when we are in the red zone..

I'll take 10 catches for the season if all 10 are redzone touchdowns coming from the fade..

i think if you can get that kinda of touchdown production out of him you would ahve to say its a great pick.

I'd like to be wildly optimistic, but I see the ranges as being 30 to 40 catches, 350 to 450 yards, with 4 to 6 Touchdowns.
I would also consider that to be a successful start, to a promising NFL career.
I can also see the yards being down, but TDs up on that.

Based on what I know, (which isn't much) and how big a part of our offense we're hoping Hardy to be, I would hope the stats break down like this at the end of the year...

Evans 98rec 1200yds 10tds
Hardy 60rec 700yds 8tds
Parrish 50rec 800yds 3tds
Reed 50rec 400yds 1td

That mandates our QB(s) to throw for 3000yds, 260 completions and 22 TD's, which isn't laughable at this point for our offense. Just more TD's which is what we're banking on. I kinda over estimated the receivers cuz who knows how the tight end situation will work out.

But hey, who knows? Bigger turnarounds have happened in the NFL...

Calvin Johnson the #2 player taken in the 07 draft had 48 rec 756 yds 5 Tds. so anything close to that has to be considered a success. Since he will be given planty of chances, my best guess is 40 rec for 600 yds. 9 TDs.

Last season we had 30 redzone situations converting 38% of them into Touchdowns...

I'd imagine that number surpasses 60% this year giving Hardy some 7-10 TD's from Redzone conversions alone...

I imagine his numbers are going to be: 60 rec. 800 yds 11 TD's.
