Stevie keeps #13

Per Chris Brown's blog, WR Stevie Johnson has been assigned the same #13 for Buffalo that he wore at Kentucky.

I expected as much. I knew 13 was open, and being a UK fan, I knew it was Stevie's old number. I'll be shocked if this kid doesn't make the roster. He's our only WR outside of Hardy with any size. He may not make a big impact this year, but that would explain his being a 7th round pick. If the Bills will give this kid a season to or two to polish his game, I think he could evolve into our #3 WR (splitting time w/Roscoe- the two offer different skills).

he reminds me of wilford but a better athlete. i'd also be surprised if he doesn't make the team.

Yeah, I was very happy with this pick. My only reservation is that he's raw and may take a year or so of coaching and learning to be able to make an impact on offense and I hope the Bills realize that and allow him that time with the team.

I think he will make the team, yeah. Give him a couple years, and he could have a big impact.

Being a UK fan, I'm absolutely pumped about our Bills taking Stevie. He is going to do great things here...trust me. He is a VERY physical WR and will no doubt make the roster. Personally, I expect him to do more than just make the team and contribute on ST. I suspect you'll see him on the field this season on offense.
