View Full Version : Bill's coaches say if he was 2" taller we would have been a 1st rounder
If that is true then I'm overjoyed that we got him, BUT I still think that we could have gotten him at least one round later.
I will give the coaches the benefit of the doubt for now, I'm really hoping their right about him.

If he was .2 seconds faster, he'd be in the olympics.

Good to hear. What this kid lacks in size he makes up with heart. Hopefully he pans out and proves all the nay sayers wrong!

I believe people are going to be surprised as to how good Corner is. He is a solid player and will make Bills fans happy.

There are some terrible jokes that are about to be posted. Im just throwing it out there that I have a good one. Not going to say it though.
Also you guy's really should look at how he did against a pwerhouse like Ohio St. and how he did against our own Jim Hardy !!!
He did very well against both teams !!

Does it involve your aunt? Cause that's the one I'm thinking of.

The reports I're read say that his biggest issues are his height, his lack of book smarts, and the mere face that, at Akron, he hasn't been seen against good competition. Neither has Rogers-Cromartie though. Even though it's unfair to compare the two, I'm willing to give corner a shot.

You guys all remember Antoine Winfield, not saying they have the same skills, but they're the same size, and Antoine still can get the job done. I'm not saying he is going to see the field this year, just that he has potential down the road.
Reggie makes up those 2" with a 36" vertical...

I was down on the pick but almost every draft review online is praising the pick. There must be something about him that is giving him all the positive reviews.

36'' is big ill agree.
But when your up against Randy Moss and he can jump as high or higher and hes 3-5 inches taller (sorry dont feel like looking up hes friggen height)
The 5'9 Corner stands no chance.
Im not knocking him but the height will make a big difference.
Put him against Hardy in a jumpball situation and depending how he does will change every1ss thought.

I think he played against Hardy last season and held him to only 4 receptions, if I remember correctly. I will look this up, I also think he played very good against Ohio St. receivers.

I think this pick holds good value. I do believe we have another corner by the name of Mcgee who measures 5'9" and was picked in the forth round. I think he turned out just fine. I'm on board with a corner that plays an almost flawless game in the backfield.

I was talking to Russ Lande today. He told me he didn't think Corner would be drafted and the scouts who covered Akron said he was pretty much worthless. Once Corner was drafted he told me he watched tape and was not impressed. I hope he is wrong.
