We already have two burners in our receiving core. If Hardy only becomes a receiver who is effective inside the 20 yard line, I will be very very happy. Evans, Parrish and Reed are all very good last year when there was a lot of room to run, but when the endzone became an extra defender there was not alot that they could do. I see Hardy catching 8-10 touchdowns for us next year and racking up around 600 yards. If he does that, I'm happy.

i would like to see him stretch the field, throw passes, run reverses and even kick field goals. no seriously, this kid has some wheels for a big man and that kind of space goes well with any kind of speed.

He has the ability to stretch the field but thats not the #1 reason he was drafted.

But he will be able to stretch the field. That is the good thing.
There were over 10 pass interference called on the defense last year when Hardy broke for a long one. In college he was in doubled and tripple coverage. That cant happen in the NFL because there will be too many other options open.

agreed... hes the "we need a catch" guy.... not the "we need a lot of yards guy"...

perfect fit for what we needed.

He can still be a deep threat. He's the kind of guy that can go up and get those deep sideline patterns - similar to what Lofton did for the Bills for several years.

That is why he will be one of the few receivers who makes an immediate impact. he just has to shield himself from cornerbacks on slant rounts and comeback routes. I think he may get 45 catches as a rookie. Can't wait to use him in Madden too.

Im not saying that he can't stretch the field, Im saying that stretching the field should not be his number 1 value. Lee's big play ability is his best asset. Hardy's value lies more in him being a red zone threat over anything else. Just catch touchdowns.

Hardy is going to be insane. The guy can do work for you underneath. Speed, that if you bite James can make you pay. The guy is a pure ath.

I really hope Buffalo finds a way to get the ball into Hardy's hands in the redzone.

He needs to run the 14yrd dig and the fade in the endzone, the dig will take the safety away from Evans and the fade to finish of are drives. Everything else the first year will be a bonus

You are correct my good sir.

Hopefully he will be able to contribute between the 20s as well, but I feel his biggest impact will be felt in the redzone and the production of other WRs.

plain and simple we need a posession receiver. Considering that this guy played basketball for the Hoosiers he should have pretty good hands. If he ends up turning into a Keyshawn Johnson minus the mouth Ill be happy with that.

this is easy hike the ball hardy goes straight and TE throws it his way. Simple enough

Hardy is going to be one of the better rookie WRs. If Hardy produces in the ball park of

500-700 yards with 4-8 TDs than we picked up our selves a phenom. 6'6" and a 4.47 40 time. Still can not get over the fact that the guy put up 36 TDs in three years.
