I would think that they do considering its another position with more responsiblities....

Or is it a "perk" to draft a corner that can return kicks back...

Anyone know?

It helps...but since he is not the returner at this time, it wont be as huge of a deal... McGee's returning helped give him a nice extension tho (that was his second contract)...

for the rookie contract, of course it will help, like all attributes... but its more so of it helped him to get drafted 11...

He will get paid like a Rookie CB drafted number 11

It obiously helps. Anyway extra you can help your team should increse your salary, but I don't see McKelvin doing much returning. We have 2 pretty good kick returners in McGee and Parrish, as well as the league leader in punt return average in Parrish. You might see McKelvin get around 15 punt/kick returns this year. I think he will focus more on playing CB since he was brought in to be our number 1 corner for a long time.
