Hardy reminds me of Harold Carmichael, the 6'8" WR from the Eagles '71 - '83. He would just go up and take the ball out of the air above the CB's reach. Hardy should have a 8 -10" height advantage over most CB's and he probably has longer arms too. Carmichael is still 18th alltime in career TD receptions with 79. Hopefully Hardy can pass him on that list.

Just another interesting Hardy stat:
34 catches for 731 yards and 10 touchdowns as a High School senior.

Funny, I am not sure if it is by accident or not, but NFL.com had Hardy compared to Carmichael... Even stated that the younger fans might have to ask their fathers' who Harold was.
Thing is, the defenses and the Cb are far better now than they were back then. Not saying you can stop a height difference like that. However, I am trying to be a realist... As much as I feel deep down Hardy will be awesome.
You have to be able to get off the line first. And other than Evans there is not much help on this team in teaching a young guy exactly how to do that.
