    logo Worst Defense to First?

Wow we are in position to really stack up are Defense. We have the opportunity to take Bowers at #34 a guy who was project to go at least Top 3 overall.

If Bowers is healthy when it comes time to play......

Think about this: Darues, Williams, Troup, Carrington, Merriman, Moats, and if we add Bowers? Lord have Mercy! You Can never have to many front 7 players when your running a 3-4 Defense.

If we can add a ILB in the 3rd round. A stud CB in free agency. Re-sign Poz and Whitner our defense would be loaded.

    Thoughts?

Please put down the koolaid, and don't get your hopes up that high. Yes we will vastly improve the quality of our defense, but certainly not first, probably not even in the top 15 yet.

Could basically get 2 first rounders (if they go Ayers). Thats a good start. Bowers....i love the idea but getting Ayers or Justin Houston would be "freakin' sweet". I seriously would like to see them trade up (i know, i know a lot of holes) back into the third and grab Johnny Patrick after they get a LB. Ideally for me; Dareus, Ayers/Reed/Houston, Sheppard and Patrick

Don't need more lineman, time for an OLB or ILB, if we really want to improve our defense

Dareus can play all positions across the DL so you can move him around

    Edwards....will be gone.

Bowers can be your end, along with Williams

    Troup plays NT.

You can Rotate Bowers and Carrington in and out to keep fresh legs

    First? First half, maybe.

Bowers isn't going to fit this defense, not with Dareus already on the team.

Nix said at the press conference they're going to take the best player at a position of need. He also said Dareus will start at DE, though he might be moved around later. DE is no longer a position of need. And Bowers isn't an LB.

Expect QB, pass-rushing OLB, ILB, OT, maybe TE though the Bills haven't treated that as a position of need, and maybe safety if they figure Donte is gone.

Bowers doesnt fit our defense... sorry he doesnt fit the 3-4, if we go back 4-3 I could see him playing the edge and that line of Bowers / Dareus / Williams/ Carrington being beast mode... but in the 3-4 he doesnt really fit. I would be happy with Houston, Mallett, Reed, Ayers as our 2nd round choice...

and get off the Whitner horse... he is AWFUL!

Only problem with Willaims playing end is he is a little shorter than you like your ends to be... Not saying he cant be effective, just the typical end is couple inches taller than him
