Default How bad is Bowers knee that he was passed over 32 times?

So he goes from being a projected number 1 pick to a top 5 pick, then to a top 10 pick. Then a top 20 pick....then out of the first round.

How bad is this guys knee that he was booted from the first round? 32 times teams looked passed him. 32 times teams said there is someone else that could possible contribute more then him.

I get the fact he is a stud player that can improve any team. But lets be realistic here, when you are passed over 32 times, there has to be an major issue. Tomorrow will be very telling. If he doesn't go in the first couple of picks, then there are a lot of people who think he will have a very short career.

If he can honestly improve the Bills defense then obviously I want him. But the fact he was passed over so many times is a bit worrisome. This is just my

I agree that if that knee can heal properly, he'd be an absolute break-the-bank steal in round 2. I wish I knew what was up. This guy, not long ago, was a possible 1st overall pick. I think if the Bills took him, though, they'd have to play him at LB. I mean last year we spent our 2nd and 3rd pick on DL who still have great potential. You can only play so many DL at a time in the 3-4 defense and I sure hope picks 1 - 5 weren't wasted last year.

No reason to think that Carrington would work out, plus that rotation would be AMAZING

No reason to think Carrington would work out? Carrington actually progressed and had positive numerics at the end of the year.

Bowers knee is said to have arthiritis in it within 2 years....

Bills coach Chan Gailey made it clear after Friday's third round picks that he's not losing any sleep over what kind of reviews the Bills receive.

"You use that term experts loosely, by the way," Gailey said.

Let's not forget that Thurman Thomas was skipped over, because of a knee injury, in the first round after being projected a 1st round pick too. His injury was thought to be a career ending injury during a time when medical science wasn't what it is today.

I think teams just didn't trust to invest a 1st round pick in him regardless if his knee is healed. Teams are just funny like that...but I think the Bills should take a chance on him, he very athletic and we took McGahee and his knee was SHATTERED!!!! Bowers knee is nothing like that. I think he would be a steal for the Bills at 34 and we would literally be almost tied to have the best draft so far.
