Default The Bills have FINALLY passed the torch.... at least this Year

So, in 1st round in the 2011 NFL draft, the Bills selected an outstanding immediate impact player, maybe the best best player in the draft, and will likely be a much better defensive when September rolls around. I mean with PP, MD and VM on the board, if was almost impossible to screw it up!

    But.....

Who takes the torch from the Bill this years as THE REACHER/ PROJECT MAGNET in 2011? There we some "say what" picks last night, who is your team who should be ashamed of themselves?

****Hey, I am just glad in the Era of Maybin, Spiller (jury is still out) and Whitner, the Bills finally slammed dunked on this one.

1.) The Titans. I like Locker but not that high like that at #8???
2.) The Seahawks. Really? with all that talent on the board you take a OL graded out for the 2nd round???

    2 huge head scratchers......

I was a bit suprised that Denver passed on Dareus to be quite honest. They literally have no DT on the roster right now, as Williams, Bannon and Thomas are all gone. I thought Miller wasn't the right fit for their situation, even though he is a unique talent. It hard with an empty cupboard for DT to take a LB that is suited for 3-4, when you are running an 4-3.

I am very pleased with the Bills front office. I am excited about round #2, if this the year we finally get it?

How have neither of y'all mentioned the Vikings? Christian Ponder at #12 overall? Such a reach.

I think Ponder might justify his selection. He'll have a good running game to bail him out while he learns.

I think the Falcons gave up way to much for Jones. Especially when they could have gotten Johnathan Baldwin for a lot less.
