here's an error that needs to be fixed... the helmet color changed in 1984, not 1987, which was well after Ferguson was traded

    1987-2001

    Buffalo Bills Uniform: 1987-2001

In 1987, the helmet's background color was changed from white to red. Bills quarterback Joe Ferguson was color blind, and thus the change was made to help him distinguish them more readily from three of their division rivals at that time, the Indianapolis Colts, the Miami Dolphins, and the New England Patriots, who all also wore white helmets at that point.[4] (The Patriots now use a silver helmet, the Colts have since been realigned to the AFC South, and the New York Jets, who wore white helmets until 1978, have since switched back to white helmets.)

Yes, in 1975 the Bills went from the multi-striped sleeves to just the two striped sleeves. They kept that look until they went to the Donahoe era jersey/uniform.

Also, the Bills logo was enlarged for the 1983 season (last year in the white helemts) That logo stayed enlarged until the current helmet we are now seeing, which the logo is smaller than 1983-2010, but larger than the 1974-1982 logo.

    1974-82:

    1983:

    Current:

Also, during the NFL 75th anniversary season (1994) the Bills wore red helmets with a white standing Buffalo two times. Once at home during a MNF game against Denver and once on the road at Houston.

None of which are big deals but thought you may want to consider adding that.

The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in the Buffalo, New York metropolitan area, and play their home games in the suburb of Orchard Park. They are currently members of the Eastern Division of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Bills began play in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League and joined the NFL as part of the AFL-NFL Merger.

The Bills won two consecutive AFL titles in 1964 and 1965, but the club has not won a championship since the merger. Buffalo is also the first and only team to win four consecutive American Football Conference Championships, though they failed to win any of the subsequent Super Bowls. The franchise name comes from the legendary western hunter and performer Buffalo Bill.

    throwback 1964 AFL championship

Do the Bills have any plans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Bills AFL championship during the 2014 season?
