logo This is not Dick Jauron's team.

The Bills have had two bad games in the last two weeks. I'll admit I'm nervous but that comes from 10 years of no playoffs and Dick Jauron's team that started 4-0 and finished 7-9.

I'm pretty sure that Chan and company can get this fixed. The biggest injury the Bills face this season is the loss of Wood. If the new guy can communicate and protect almost as good as Wood then they should be ok.

Aaron Williams is coming back soon and so should DB, IIRC.

The next draft is going to be for quality backups. I think it's obvious that depth is a problem for this team right now.

As of right now, I'd take the best WR, CB or LB available at the Bills first pick. JMO

Stevie Johnson is a legitimate WR but they don't have a legitimate second starter right now. If Easley works out then great, but I wouldn't bet the house on him. A big strong WR is definitely needed. IMO, David Nelson is the second best receiver on the team right now. It would be great if a 6'3"-6'5" speedy guy with good hands fell to Buffalo in the first round. I think that would greatly help the offense.

As for the defense? Is it lack of talent or coaching? Does Edwards get fired and Wannestadt take over at the end of the season? Something needs to be done.

    As always JMO

There is no truth or logic behind that post.

All our best players are hold overs from the previous regime.

We have a new coach, but the players are the same.

After 4 GM's, 4 head coaches, and 11 straight seasons of no playoffs, I think there is plenty of logic in his post. At a certain point you have to believe turning this team around is impossible.

How about Johnson is a very good number 2 receiver. We have no number 1 receiver.

I would be willing to bet that nearly 70% of the players that were here in 2009, aren't on this roster anymore.

I have feared this situation. That the team was put into such a talent hole, that there is no possible way you can put all the pieces for a team together by drafting. Of course it doesn't help that the draft genius has only yielded us 3 (semi)-impactful players from his 2010 draft, being David Nelson, Alex Carrington and Arthur Moats.

    Quality depth?

We still have no game changing OLB/DE, CB and WR.

Jauron's defense is currently 6 in the NFL with one of youngest "D's" in the league.

    Then why bother being here?

I don't know the percentage but I believe I read that the turnover amount is huge from 2009.

Fitz, Bell, Levitre, Wood, Stevie, Parrish, Jackson started the year (well over half the offense)

Kelsay, Edwards, Williams, McGee, McKelvin, Florence, Byrd, Wilson (well over half the defense)
When the Bills hired Jauron and Gailey, the team's misfortunes were 100% predictable. At least Marrone has a chance to succeed.

All of those guys didn't start though. I thought Edwards was a Nix acquisition.

Edwards needs to be fired last week. If Wanny is of any relevance, then Edwards is completely redundant and just another cog in a wheel of things going wrong.
