Default After assessing this team's needs...

People have to think WR should be our first round pick.. Blackmon, Jeffery, or Floyd... We need weapons, the more we have the easier it makes on Fitz going forward because let's face it, He is Chan's guy and will stick with him for the foreseeable future.

Personally i think Jeffery would be the realistic choice, seeing as how Blackmon would be gone and he would provide a big red zone threat, ala smaller Jimmy Graham.

    Thoughts?

    I don't want Jeffery.

There was a lot of talk coming out of SC this year about him being over weight and slow. He's a big reciever but not the one I want.

I'll take Michael Floyd over him any day of the week.

Floyd reminds me of Vincent Jackson.

Watch his YouTube reels.. His body control and his ability to jump and make a pay on the ball is awesome. He will come off the board before Jeffery.

I thought the knock on Floyd was his off field issues though.

Question is though, is he a justifiable 9-12 range pick?

He's probably in the 10-20 range. If he runs a good 40 he will probably closer to 10 than 20

If you watch film, Floyd has more RAC big plays than either of the other two top 3 WR coming out. Whether he has a better 40 time is one thing, he clearly sees the field better than the other receivers coming out with ball in his hand.

Chris Brown said that the Bills will probably be looking at 2nd tier FA WR's, or mid round prospects if they resign Stevie...meaning the only way we would draft a #1 WR is if we didn't resign Stevie.

That being said, I seriously hope we don't draft a WR 1st round!

FA is deep in WR this year.

I think we should tag or extend Stevie and then pickup an additional WR in FA.

then go straight up BPA in the draft.

But keep in mind, we aren't the most attractive destination for FA, also Ralph's checkbook opens up fewer times than a solar eclipse, at least drafting we force them to come to Buffalo haha
