He deserved to be in the probowl, to bad this defense is as bad as it is. Geez, the first half of the season you could of made easy argument for him to be considered as defensive mvp. The Palomalu name beat him out, not the player.

A few of the passes that McKelvin got blamed for giving up were in fact Wilson's fault. He let his man past him. I don't think he had a pro-bowl type year. I do think he played a lot better than I thought he could/would.

Wilson was never going to make it. He isn't the best SS in the AFC and there were plenty of games where he was just kind of "eh" or where he didn't play at all(remember. He missed a lot of time because of his injury. That killed his pro bowl chances right there)

The only players on this team that could've made the pro bowl were Jackson and Levitre. Everyone else had plenty of bad plays and/or had better players at their respective position in the AFC(like George Wilson, Jairus Byrd Eric Wood, Nick Barnett, and Steve Johnson.)

Yeah. George Wilson deserved it. But he is making a good name for himself around the league. Even in the media he's getting the respect he deserves. Perhaps next season you'll see more heads turn his way.

Stats are only one part on the pro bowl.. Name recognition is the other. Wilson doesn't deserve it anyway. He's not a pro bowl safety.

Jairus Byrd is turning into a complete S. He continues to impress me.

Wilson is really overrated here. He was awesome doing the hot start but has been invisible after that first Jets game. I know he missed a few games but being good for 5 games does not equal pro bowl. Byrd has been consistent all season and I think is the 3rd best safety in the AFC behind Troy and Weddle.
