No. Putting Chan in Mikes category is disrespectful to Chan. Mike Singletary is an idiot and one of the worst coaches ever. He thought that being a coach had more to do with "tough talk" and locker room speeches then actually knowing what he was doing.

Gailey is a good coach, his plays have kept us in games, his play calling has won games for us. It is clear we need better players and a better defense and this team will be better. Let these guys do their jobs.

Its just asking if Gailey will be the coach before the coach who gets the team into the playoffs. The other two possibilities are that Gailey gets the team in the playoffs, or the next coach doesn't get us in the playoffs either.

In this thread, I'm not sure the OP is thinking, at all.
Some of this stuff is more 'stream of unconsciousness' posting, and probably would be best deleted.
People should understand that the name on the front of the uniform is more important than the one on the back.

In hindsight, the question callled for more clarification. I didn't really intend a controversy. I think most posters figure if Gailey doesn't get to the playoffs next year he probably gets relieved as head coach, rightly or wrongly.
