Re-sign Stevie, Fred and Chandler... then sign a Mario Williams or Robert Mathis in FA... I am 100% ok with going LT in the first.
But we still need another WR, CB, and LB help.

Hopelessly devastated Bills fan.

Right now I dont see a pass rusher that would be better then us picking a legit LT or playmaker WR.
Do you really think I care what you think of my sign?
Sorry that you were forced to watch some of the best defensive players in college.
If you consider sacks the only part of a pass rush, then again, it goes to show what you dont know. Before the injury bug hit this season, the pass rush was disrupting the timing of every QB they faced. That led to INT's. Which im pretty sure led to victories for the Bills.
Ive said it before, Courtney Upshaw is a COMPLETE player. He will be on the field for 3 downs on every series. He is a force against the run, which if you didnt notice the Bills again in the bottom 5 of the league in run defense. He gets after the QB and the ball. That doesnt seem to matter to a lot of people, but to me it does.
Aldon Smith is a great pass rusher, but he's not an every down player. Upshaw is. Say what you want about the Oline, but they gave up fewer sacks than any team in the league. Fitz started all 16 games, and aside from injuries, all 3 guys that played LT did their jobs well. Taking a T is a waste of a pick at #10.
Thank you! I said this in a topic I made before. Upshaw is slow and isn't an elite pass rusher. Coples played DT in college, so why is he being projected as DE?
Kalil, Reiff and Martin are all top 10 talent and will be solid LTs in the future.
Ha!
Do you think that he will warrant a double team? If you lined him up with Williams and Dareus, you think he wont be able to overpower a T? Sorry man, but whatever team takes him is going to have an All-Pro player for 10 years. Again, if he runs a 4.7 40, who cares! A guy that is 270lbs that moves that fast and is violent at the line is going to get pressures and sacks on pure power alone. Honestly, you have no idea what you are saying at this point.
Maybe...maybe not. I think that right now he projects at around 17-20. If he blows up at the combine, I can see him going 10th. If not, I could see him going 40. If, as Odomes said, he runs a "4.7 40," the latter may be true.
Point is, it's just too early to tell. Whether he's taken in the 1st or the 2nd, he's the same player. However, it would be a lot sweeter if our top 2 picks were DeCastro and Upshaw than if they were, say, Upshaw and Brandon Lindsey.
What about that Ingram kid that got mentioned in the mock draft? A hybrid OLB/DE with the things being said about Ingram sounds pretty good to me. No?
Reynolds from BYU is a true LT and he will most likely go in the 2nd.

I try to think about the Buddy Nix era. If you keep thinking that things are just going to be the same with a different GM, that's not how today's NFL works. Buddy is the guy that makes the draft picks. The '10 draft had CJ, who has proven that he can play at a very high level of performance. Carrington was raw as a rookie, but still hasn't impressed. Troup and Easley may yet turn out to be great picks or total busts, really. We'll just have to wait and see how to finally grade that draft.
The '11 draft was our best in a long while. Dareus has not hit his peak yet and we could end up with 4 starters out of that draft, eventually. Three, at least, seems very resonable.
If we get 3 solid starters in the '12 draft (OLB, DE, OT) and another player in FA (WR), that would be a big boost. Add a healthy and productive Easley and Troup coming into their own and we suddenly look pretty good on paper, at least.

Martin is projected to be a RT in the NFL.
Reiff is a possibility, and I like what one poster said about Upshaw having Ray Lewis or James Harrison potential.
However where the Bills are short is at the freak athlete skill position, i.e. Passrusher and Wide Receiver. As that 10 gives you the chance to improve your star quality at those positions one may be tempted there.
So Reiff, Upshaw, WR (Blackmon or Floyd) or DE (Coples, Ingram, etc.)
I think, no Martin.
