Google is what allowed the Internet Genius to quote Wikipedia as a reliable source.
While USA Today is by no means Wikipedia, anything posted on the internet should be taken with a grain of salt unless there is actual citations listing where this was taken from.
There is still no statistical possibility that 644 players on 32 teams (644/32=20.13 players per team) are free agents. I'm sure that was misquoted to include players who are not actually on teams (T.O.) or are part of a practice squad as it is statistically impossible for all 32 teams in the league to have almost 40% of their active 53 man roster coming up for FA this year.
Do the Bills have 20 free agents this year? I mean I could honestly be wrong, but I doubt it very seriously.
If you don't understand how stupid that was and how invalid you just proved your point, then I don't think I can help you.
www.i4u.com --------> Trusted news outlet. Yep you got me. This was also posted on the same reputable news outlet http://www.i4u.com/2012/02/hugh-laur...old-play-house
Again. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but until I see an actual copy of this NFLPA listing I will go with common sense and statistics first (Please remember that I mention that that number has to actually include people on practice squads and those not on a team currently).
If you want to continue to believe everything you read on the internet be my guest. You are certainly given the constitutional right to do so.
I heard Bill Polian say it with my own ears on a radio. I know you know more than him too. Of course it includes all players
When did I ever say I knew more than anyone? I asked CPT where he pulled that number from and said that unless I saw proof I wouldn't believe it since there is so much garbage on the BBMB and the internet in general.
You're the master of guile that decided he wanted to play smart guy as if Google is somehow the be-all-end-all of knowledge sources. Graduate school helps remedy that since you actually need to cite legitimate sources of information and not www.ihaveawebsitelawlz.com.
I don't really care what you think, but if you can post an actual legitimate document that says that I will gladly apologize. Until then I will continue to live in my world of thought before conviction and not believe every old thing I hear or see.
USA TODAY posted a entire list of names.. Prove to me that those players arent free agents and then you can play the internet is always wrong game. This will be the 3rd time I will type these words Bill Polian said it on the radio not the internet the radio.
I love how you are STILL arguing a point that is not up for question. I never once said I wouldn't believe that there are that many FA. Just that I couldn't figure out HOW there were that many (I even offered a way that it was possible) and that I wouldn't believe it without a verifiable source.
All I was doing was trying to educate your mind to the fact that the internet is not a legitimate source of information as ANYONE can post ANYTHING. Even the legitimate websites have to pull down articles that aren't accurate.
Yet you continue to waste energy and brain cells trying to prove this point. All I asked for was a link to a legitimate document.
You were the one that chimed in with an asinine comment or two as if your posts about Google were actual PROOF of something. Do...you...understand...yet?
What is even more ironic is your signature is alluding to my very argument, that believing what you see or hear is never absolute and yet you are oblivious to it.
And just as yet a further example of my point between you and I, "This is the FIRST time I have typed this, but l heard on the radio. Not the internet. The radio. That Bill Belichik is coming to Buffalo as an assistant coach." Believe me?
I would actually believe ESPN or NFL.com as they are recognized sources of information, so thank you for posting that "one" link. It also looks like Cincy and St. Louis have over 25 FA each. I am proven wrong in my original argument. You win.
Dude free agents don't just mean players that are currently on a team and will be leaving a team. It also includes players who are already teamless and practice squad guys. Stop trying to argue and accept it. You're wrong.
LETS GO BUFFALO
I did accept it. I was wrong and admitted it. And actually based on the list of free agents from various ESPN pages that 644 number quoted from NFLPA actually DOES only include players on teams. Sooooo you're wrong too. How does it feel?
