No they don't. We have leverage here and in another year, Jairus and Levitre are bigger priorities. If this year goes well, then you sign these guys long-term.

BTW, how do the tender rules work? How much would we be paying Rinehart and Urbik with a tender?

Ok I have read conflicting reports on Rinehart in terms of if he is a RFA or UFA.

Also it is based on the level you tender him at.

Currently what I have seen reported.

There are 3 RFA tenders (the new CBA did away with the “high” tender of 1st and 3rd round draft picks as compensation):

1st Round Tender: allows the team to receive the other team’s 1st round - $2.846M (est)

2nd Round Tender: allows the team to receive the other team’s 2ndround pick - $2M (est)

Low Tender: allows the team to receive a draft pick equal to the round in which the player was originally drafted or the Right of First Refusal (ROFR) for an undrafted player - $1.308M (est)

Buddy Nix, "We have shut down corners, it's just the guys they shut down ain't no good".

Buddy Nix, "We think adding Vince to our roster will create more COMPETITION for the BACKUP quarterback position."

Thanks for the info. In that case, I'd 1st round tender Urbik and 2nd round tender Rinehart. If 8 games in this year they're still performing at a high level, then get to work on an extension. Urbik's barely a year off the scrap heap and Rinehart wasn't even starting for us at the beginning of 2011.
