Exspectations are gonna be huge for Dareus from this fan base.....based on this poll we think he is gonna play better than a two time pro-bowler in Kyle Williams.....i really hope he is up for the challenge!

Absolutely, they should be great complements for each other, and each one will be better because they're playing next to a great player, not to mention the fact that one of them will be playing next to Mario Williams, and the other next to a very good rotation of Merriman and Anderson.
    My adopt-a-Bill is Marcel Dareus.

I think Dareus is the true blue chip stud that can't be handled without help. Kyle is a digger that has to be dealt with, but can be handled.

So I think it is Kyle who may end up with the stats based off Dareus's impact. Honestly I think the same can be said for the entire defence. Dareus is the lynchpin regardless of what the stats say.

I was blown away by his play last year. My jaw hit the floor when I seen he's only 22years old. The crimson elephant served notice last season that's he's a dominant force.

No disrespect to Kyle Williams either. Man has earned everything he's gotten.

They both will have the help from Mario and Mark on the ends, but let's take a close look at why both should be much better.

Kyle Williams-as we all know he is comming off injury. The bone spurs in his feet are extremely painful to play with and happen over time. What this tells me is he plays through pain but also hasn't been 100% for some time. With Kyle fully healthy I exspect him back to his pro-bowl form and ready to push the Bills into the playoffs. Not to mention the fact he has never had such a good supporting cast.

Marcell Dareus- was just a rookie last yr and was asked to play two diff positions with hardly any help on the line......he responded with a great rookie season to build from. Keep in mind due to the lock-out he had no off-season and was learning in the fly. With a full season under his belt and a great supporting cast I exspect him to help the playoff push as well, we might see a pro-bowl nod for him too.

Again this isn't a who do u like better its a who do u think will have a better season thread. I truly love both of them and imo we have the most dominating DT tandem in the NFL and prob the best since Henderson and Stroud in their prime!

    ***wait for poll***
As a clarification, How do you define bigger impact? Better stats? getting more double teams? Pro-bowl votes?

I have a feeling it will be very difficult to distinguish between the two in terms of "impact".

For example depending on the offenses game plan you could see a constant double team on Dareus (or Kyle, this is just an example) and Kyle could go off because he has a one on one matchup.

They will constantly be assisting and effecting each others game so its a really tough question.

Dareus is stronger/more powerful. Kyle is quicker/and his very low center of gravity allows him to be arguably the best penetrating DT in the game.

One can't help but gush about this D-line. I feel like it is a race to the QB/RB for these guys.

Please stop sprending this blatant lie. Kye Williams is an excellent penetrating and pursuit run defender.

It seemed like every game in 2010 he had a play where he tackled the guard, the full back AND the running back...

    please just stop.

i don't know who will have better stats but they both will compliment each other so much.I guess whoever gets the least doubles but either way they are a hardcore two headed monster in the middle.

If there was no injury problems I might lean towards Williams but until I see he can stay healthy the safer pick is dareus plus he has more talent around him and a year under his belt

I LOVE Kyle, probably tied for my favorite player on the team along with Fred, and I think he will have a great year. But Dareus is going to be special. He is so athletic, strong, smart, and motivated. Marcell flashed some greatness last year after Kyle went down and I think he makes an even bigger jump in his second year after a full offseason and playing along side great veterans all across the line
