It is usually channel 13 or channel 8 in Rochester that carries preseason games. I cannot remember. One is CBS the other is ABC.

I wouldn't worry. One of two things will happen.1) TW will resolve conflict.
2) someone will carry it because the nfl is big money market.

There really isn't a conflict to be honest. Each year Roger Goodell offers NFL network and the redzone channel. But he wants a kings ransom for it. If Time Warner agrees they just pass the fees onto the customers. That is unfair for a lot of people that have Time Warner that could care less about football. I almost was very happy last year when Fox programming almost pulled a lot of its Fox programming stations including Fox News. Sure I would have missed out on FX and regular fox but the idea of not having Fox News on my cable box really appealed to me.

Well I started another thread about this subject. Last I heard it wasnt as bad as the MSG situation. But I haven't been following it. IMO redzone should be ppv and nfl network should be part of the rediculious amount that I pay.
The question I have, now that it's on my mind, is will the NFL allow local channels to carry the local team game(s) like they do with ESPN. For example, when the Bills play Monday nighters ch.7 here in WNY always gets the game so people without cable or dishes can watch.
I see a worst case where that happens for the nfl network games.

I like the 49ers matchup/ Early in the season b4 it starts raining. I have been at the Stick for the last 4 Bills games rain,rain,rain and 4 loses. I know it hard on a team to travel west but I have a feeling this year will be a whole different Bills team.
Just might get to see win at the Stick.

more than likely it'll be either Houston (because of Mario) or it'll be the Jets (because of Tebow) or the Pats (because they are the Pats). any of those work (although since it's on NFL Network i'll miss it.. woohoo Time-Warner :/)
If they play Jets or Pats.. at the Ralph, early-ish in the season before they get a handle on whatever offense/defense we're going to have.
Houston- not sure it matters much when we play them, it's going to be difficult.

Nope. Only a team's primary market can simulcast cable games. So WKBW can but the other affiliates in Rochester Syracuse and Erie cannot.
