    Default Bobby Petrino's firing...

Are the Bills at risk of losing Dave Wannstadt or even David Lee as the new coach?

I saw on twitter that Sportscenter retweeting somebody saying Wannstadt could be on the list?

Does anybody think that it could happen? Would Wanny leave us after such an successful offseason and obviously being on the same page as Nix and Gailey?

I personally don't think it will happen because Lee jsut got hired and Wanny technically just got hired. He is a DC/Asst HC in the NFL.

Man that would suck, i would be really pissed. I don't know if Wanny would jump ship but probably. My guess is Arkansas wont go the Wanny route.

I wouldn't want to face Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee every year. Here he has Mario, Dareus and Kyle. He goes up against the Dolphins and Jets twice...no brainer.

Joe Schad reported that Wanny is a candidate, but I don't see him leaving after having little success at UPitt.

I really doubt it but I guess anything is possible when Lane Kiffin can leave Tennessee after one year.

I don't see it, he had a HUGE offseason for the Bills and just talked Mario Williams into coming to the Bills. No way he just leaves, to move down.

No offense to Wanny, who I totally respect as a DC, but I think Arkansas will be aiming a bit higher. He didn't exactly set the world on fire in the Big East.

I don't see Wanstache as a fit in the SEC. Sure Petrino came from a Big East school in Louisville, and Wanstache was at sPitt, but he does not fit the SEC mould. I think Art Briles or Gary Patterson have a better shot at the job.................I hope

Wanny has a better chance of landing the Bills head-coaching gig if Gailey flames out.

I'm happy with the direction of the team, but I'm not crowning us an AFCE powerhouse yet...

Be sure to put in a good word for us with Tyler Mr. Wannstadt, if you do get the job!

Someone who actually watches college football!!! Bobby Petrino, for all of his issues, actually won in the SEC and built a very good team.

Wanny, IMO, if offered the job, would take it in a NY second, but the Allumni is going to want a bigger name than Wanny.

If Wanny leaves us for that crap job he's not serious about the Bills and we might as well find out now before we have a good team. This could be considered a test of his loyalty and it couldn't come at a better time.

I think he's here until Gaily hands him the keys.
There is no Pinstripe Bowl in the NFL, either you're playing to win the Super Bowl or you're not really playing for anything.

Plus I would hope his credibility matters.

He sold these guys, he needs to stick it out.

I suspect he wants a successful run as a DC if he even wants to be HC again, which he may not.

He could be viewed as a defensive savior in Buffalo!
My fake girlfriend loved the Buffalo Bills. However she recently died.

Let's hope Dave Wannstedt 2012 is the new Wade Phillips 2011.

Wanny is under contract to the Bills and I doubt he would even want the job.

For people saying that loyality should come first...that is BS.

Head Coaching job trumps all....and if he was offered the job (I think he has no chance at it), then good for him. Head Coaching is the top job in the coaching ranks...to be hard on Wanny for even considering it is foolish.

The Razorbacks would be a great job and that team is built to win...that alone is the reason he won't get it. Wanny has no connection to the SEC (he was a big east guy) and being able to recruit top players...he won't be able to do that in the SEC against Saben and Les Miles.
