Default Best way to get to Ralph Wilson coming from Rochester

I just bought season tickets for the first time this season and I'm really excited about joining my fellow Bills fans for each home game. I typically had gone to only one game a year and go the main route to get to the stadium (the Mile Strip Road W Exit turning onto Abbott). I have been told that this is the slowest way to the stadium as it is the main way that most people know.

Which way do you vets recommend for getting into the stadium on game day? The question doesn't have to specifically be from Rochester, just coming from the East in general. I would appreciate any suggestions!

I am a season ticket holder from rochester as well. Many ways to go but my favorite is to get off at mile strip and turn left on california and then take a right on southwestern. Not much differance but california doesnt seem to get the traffic abbot does.

I come up from PA and the first traffic I hit is on Russert Drive. Going home once I get to 219 heading south there is almost nothing. all traffic heads north.

that sounds like the best way to me. I'm from orchard park and i know if you head down california road you won't hit much traffic if any!

Thanks for the responses guys! I didn't know if there was a better exit to get off or anything. Just curious, which lot do you guys typically park in? When I go I usually park in the team lot across from the stadium but I could see paying $25 for the whole season getting expensive, or is it worth it compared to the experience in the other lots?

If your a season ticket holder they should send you a 5 dollar off voucher for parking for each game. At least they have the last 5 years. Plus the last two years they have sent a voucher for free parking to one game.

I come from Syracuse and I get off at Exit 49 and take Transit/Southwestern/Route 20 all the way to lot 5. I find its easier especially on the way back. Plus if we need to stop for fuel or tailgating stuff its all right there.
