    Default NFL Network-Casserly

Casserly said he's heard that Buffalo really wants Kahlil. Not from the Bills but from other sources.

Said that Bills trading up to about 5 shouldn't be a surprise.

Probably one of the only tackles/linemen I would be OK with. This guy looks like a Pro Bowler to me

So basically, we're going all in on a tackle to help protect our less than average quarterback? All the while giving up picks that might land us a bluechipper next year? Sounds like a good idea to me. *Sarcasm*

so the Bills are interested in Kahil, Barron, Gilmore, Tannehill, Blackmon, Floyd, Knuechy, Kirkpatrick and Rieff, that about sums it up

I seriously doubt the Bills will trade up for Kalil or any other player for that matter.

I'd rather stay at 10 and grab Keuchly, Floyd, etc.

I would be all for Kalil if he fell to 10. I'm just totally against trading up for a left tackle and giving up picks when we don't even have a legit game changer at the quarterback position.

This is not coming from the Bills - someone WANTS the Bills to trade up - this is more of a rumor than a news report - thank goodness all this speculation will be over tomorrow - it is wearing me out
    Looking forward to 2013:

Manuel - most upside in the draft
Woods - most pro ready WR
Alonso - tall ILB with coverage skills
Goodwin - fastest WR in draft
Duke Williams - prince of a pick
Meeks - no he is not
Hopkins - best K prospect in the draft
    Gragg - vertical threat TE

Go ahead and complain - I am happy with this draft
Adopt a Bill - first choice Alonso, second Goodwin

Are you talking about Jacksonville or Buffalo?

Moving up to take a tackle does not make sense regardless of who is in the backfield.

Kalil is clearly the best but the combo of the tackle we eventually take plus the pick we save by standing pat is at worst a wash.

Kalil at 10 would be great.

I am tired of people like you ripping on Fitz. Is he a great qb, definitely not. Is he a good qb, possibly. I know he started good and then got hurt and stunk it up. I don't know how much the ribs played a factor or not but it couldn't of helped. Either way here are some "less than average quarterbacks". Trent Edwards, JP Losman, JaMarcus Russell, just to name a few. I think Fitz is better then they are. The players love playing for this guy too. For crying out loud TRENT DILFER, let me do that again, TRENT DILFER, won a super bowl. REX GROSSMAN made it to the super bowl. If we put an awesome d together we have a shot.

Pretty certain not a person in or around the NFL has a clue what Buddy Nix is thinking.

    you're on crack

Fitz may not be great but less then average ????

Do you really think we will be getting a blue chipper drafting in the late teens or later next year ?
Watch out AFC.. The Beast of the East is merely napping

saved for future reference...in regards to 2013 QB's.

All that needs to be said about the QBs is that they're all flawed and mediocre and shouldn't be taken anywhere in the first round. None of them.

So you want to not protect are "less than average" QB so if he gets hurt, we play our "less than average" back up?

    Default trade up

The only trade up I'm good with is to get Blackmon.

Kalil's father is really good friends with Jim Kelly, Im sure it helps some, the Bills probably know what type of person they are getting. He is worth it.
