Default Todd McShay says Cordy Glenn worst fit for team

They asked Mel Kiper and McShay what players are the worst fits for the team they went to, McShay said Cordy Glenn.

I hope Nix and Gailey use these comments to fuel Glenn. As long as he gets his weight down, which Nix said he has had no trouble getting his weight where coaches wanted it in the past, then I think he will be a good LT.

Mayock mentioned that, but McShay didn't.

I never liked McShay. I remember him saying that he liked our 09 draft LOL.

I looked up McShay's profile. He was a high school QB, played as a backup for a bit at Richmond, then worked for something called The Warroom as a natioanl scout before joining ESPN.

So I ask again as I do everytime McShay's name comes up: what exactly has this guy ever done than makes him qualified to judge NFL draft picks?

he's just a pretty face that ESPN loves to flaunt around whenever the draft comes up. I respect Kiper because his mocks are comprehensive. McShays a joke.

They're like politicians. They speak well on camera and to most fans they sound like they know their stuff. I mean if you hear someone so confidently speak about 500 college players, many of whom none of us have heard of, you'd consider them experts because they say it so well.

Forrest Gump told a nice story. But he still had an IQ of 70.

Yeah, I was going to say, Levitre, Byrd, and Wood really like the 09 draft. Maybin obviously didn't work out, but he did get production the first season he left Buffalo...

Except for Wood, Byrd and Levtire, our top 1st round pick FAILED. Do I even need to mention his name??

So, we got 3 probowl calibur players but since we missed on our first pick the draft is a failure? Get real.

While picking Maybin was SOOOO bad we at least got Wood, Levitre, and Byrd out of that draft.

What is it with people who go back to old drafts and go haha I remember Mayock liked this guy over this guy, or Kiper said this?

Does that mean that they don't know what they are talking about across the board? No.

These guys watch hours of film, go to the Senior Bowl, Combine in-person while you and I sit at home and try to pull up what we can on You Tube.

Said he is a right tackle and we already have Hairston and Pears to play right tackle.

That is when I knew McShay had it all wrong because he sees Hairston AND Glenn as RTs though both have college experience at both positions.

Glenn gives Buffalo a LT/LG back-up that could win either one of those jobs or make a major difference as the back-up if either player gets hurt.

You just may see Glenn make Levitre trade-able since they have the same versatility yet Cordy is so much bigger. I would not be unhappy if Levitre had a pro bowl year and got Buff a 1st rd pick in a trade with Glenn on the roster.
Hairston at LT and Glenn at LG would give Buffalo a mammoth left side that would be very hard to get past and hard to not get blocked by.
That would enhance the run game and then give Buffalo two 1st round picks in the 2013 draft which they could use to build a championship team!

He pretty muched called him a right tackle and said we have 3 RT's and will be curious to see what we do at LT.
