I mean seriously, some of you need to learn to form your own opinions from the facts, not from some talking head's opinion.
College and the NFL don't compare. There are hundred of LT's in college football every year why do so few become LT in the NFL? Why do most of them move to RT? I agree with you that he has versatility.

The SEC and NFL do compare, hence the amazing amount of SEC players in the first and second round of the draft this year. His potential at LT is definitely there, just as much as Reiff and Martin in my opinion. Plus, like I said, he has the versatility to be pretty much a sure fire pick. We needed depth badly last year all along that line.

Wow can't believe you said that. The SEC is the best college conference but there is no comparison to the NFL. That comment makes you lose all credibility.

I'll second that. NE loses Anderson (10 sacks and didn't start the whole year), draft a rookie, and somehow they got better.

They lost Anderson AND Carter, who accounted for 20 sacks last year. They added Trevor Scott and some undersized rookies. They also lost Light and Waters on the OL and replaced them with inferior players.

Where do you think NFL players come from? Mars? By your reasoning Darues should've sat on the bench last year instead of racking up sacks and basically dominating up front by the end of the season.

Message board guy talks about credibility LOL. What a joke. Stop posting before you hurt yourself.

glenn started at left tackle in the best coference in college football, went up against some of the best players in the country and held his own. Me's thinking he will be penciled in at left tackle in the season opener and the rest will be history.
Welcome to the NFL, where the only measure of success can be found in the standings

I dont think many are doubting his potential....the doubt comes from the strange insistence by many that the kid is gonna be a great LT out of the gate simply because he played in the SEC. It doesn't work like that.
    Is this your homework Larry?
