throwback I hate to break the News to Buddy Nix but the rebuilding project is over

Don't want to hear about young unproven players, A tough division, No backup Quarterback, Injuries, Real bad luck, Tom Brady, Sanchez/Tebow or any other Excuse. It all needs to end somewhere.

This draft completes the 3 year rebuilding project and its fair to assume that Buddy Nix & Chan Gailey picked their team. Its now Tweak the roster time in Buffalo. No reason to start the season with flaws. This is why you hire a top GM. Would the Patriots start the season with a rookie 3rd round selection as their starting WR?? I think not.

I like T.J. Graham but Buddy needs to work a trade or claim a 2nd Wide Receiver before September. It's not that hard, we have 2013 draft picks.

I am not making EXCUSES for 2012 and neither should any Bills fan. Buddy Nix had plenty of time to fix the problems. 3 years is the NFL norm. Nuff said.

Lets see what you got Buddy, Bring it

Good for you, we're all delighted to hear it. I'm sure Buddy, Chan and Fitz will be working just that little bit harder so as not to disappoint Darkside02...
I want the Bills to smash Tom Brady in the mouth so hard he has to clean his teeth through his arse.

I am sure Nix and Gailey will have trouble sleeping now.

Darkside, I hear you. But, this team was in such disarray before Nix and Gailey got here, that in my opinion this rebuild project is a 4 year project. Now with that being said, I fully expect improvement across the board this year and our final pieces will be added in next years draft. Our front office has done an excellent job building this current roster, the biggest question mark is the QB position. If Fitz has an outstanding year, the Bills are in the playoffs. If he does not, look for the Bills to find their QB of the future in next years draft.
Last year, we had decent starters, but no depth. I think we've added a few key pieces this offseason and we are heading in the right direction and should be fighting for a playoff spot in the end of Dec, but I think it rests more in the hands of Fitzy, than it does Buddy and Chan's.
Buddy Nix= the sly silver fox!! Keep it up Buddy!

The team went 6-10 in 2011.

The rebuilding is not over until a winning and/or playoff season is achieved.

Even then, the rebuilding isn't over because teams are always building, even the best teams.

I agree with the OPs sentiment...when they walked in to buffalo they asked fans to be patient, that they were going to have a 3 year plan to build through the draft, and keep our own talent.

This is year three, so as fans, we should be, and are right in expecting this team to be better. I don't know why the 3 year plan included switching defensive personal from a 4-3 to a 3-4 then back again, other than a horrible hire in George Edwards... But beyond that, this has been their show, they've built their team, with their players, so they should have a winner.

    QFT

Perfectly stated, I could not agree more.

In order of "hot seat" pressure going into 2012, I would rank them as the following...

    1. Ryan Fitzpatrick
    2. Chan Gailey
    .
    .
    .
    358. Buddy Nix

For a coaching staff, yes, I tend to agree.

    For a General Manager...hell no.

There shouldn't be any need for excuses because this team will be winning games. Last season's streak of early wins fizzled, but I think this year, with our revamped, and younger defense will keep us in games by giving Fitzgerald a short field to work with on many occasions.

We also have Fred back, and paired with Spiller who really started to EARN a starting spot last season, we should have a potent running offense, with timely passes mixed in.

Cordy Glen is a great run blocker, so that helps.

I feel like this team can win a wildcard slot this year. Not bad for taking a team on the brink of going winless in recent memory.

The Bills could have addressed the quarterback situation several times in the last 3 years but Fitz is their man. They said so several times.

    Excuses are over.

We have some fairly minor Tweeks to make before September, if Buddy fails to see the need then HE IS AT FAULT.

    Bottom line

Because a third round rookie wr that you don't happen to like is the difference between this team winning and losing. You need to get over your hate you make a thread every day to ***** and nothing you say is ever logical. First your *****ing for vince young which is leaughable, now your saying to trade our third round rookie before you even see him play. Before he even goes to a mini camp o most likely even uses the workout facilites. Your such a joke. Stop posting new threads unless they are intelligent your reasoning here could be outmatched by my dog....and just fyi my dog walked into a closed door yesterday....

Sorry, you are dead wrong, the Bills need a backup and that thread was intended to bring attention to the problem. Makes no difference if it Vince Young or JOE BLOW, we need a BACKUP.

    Get a life.
