I dont see how anyone can doubt that CJ Spiller is the real deal.
If Gailey feels confident in his ability to pick up te blitz, he will see more time. That gives the offense some really amazing options at creating mismatches. That should be the main focus for CJ this offseason and in TC
It's been posted, everyone will flame you for that, then they'll flame the credibility...
Basically you're getting ready to have a bunch of Bills fans arguing about someone giving a Bills player some credit.

Here come the Spiller and/or Nix and/or PFF haters.
He's the real deal. Less Fitz, more Spiller.

I don't remember exactly DeMarco Murray's game. But as far as the others if you read the article they take into account the impressiveness of the run, not just yardage etc. Reggie in that game ran through a LOT of wide open lanes and basically had to just run straight and fast. CJ in that game made a lot of guys miss to get the yardage that he did. That's what they are saying here. Same with Freddy in those games. Although impressive, didn't quite put on the talent that CJ did against Miami.

Cool story brah!
Spiller is our #1 playmaker on offensive.....its his time to shine, we get him more involved and I'm sure he can make a huge impact, this will be the yr of Spiller!
There are 3 steps to "Building Through the Draft"
1. Draft
2. Develop
3. Retain
If we don't re-sign Byrd then we are not "Buildin Through the Draft"

Da'rick Rogers and Robert Woods over David Nelson and Donald Jones all day!
Gilmore and McKelvin are gonna be the best CB tandem in the AFC East!
C.J. Spiller is the man. I bet Choice got ten carries that game. SMH
Only one flamer so far. I am really enthusiastic about the possibilities with FGred and CJ. Not a lot of fun for a DC to plan for.
.....the key with CJ this year will be get him the 40% touches and get him in open space.....call alot of screens and put him in the slot......he is a playmaker whose year 3 should be one to shine.......

I have said from day 1, I think he will blossom into a stud.

Sebastian River Sharks Football 2012. Go Sharks!
I was at that game.
CJ was a MONSTER. Every single time he touched the football I got excited. He's going to be a stud.
I really think there has to be a 50/50 split in touches for Spiller and Jackson.
I'd love to see the Bills use CJ on first and second down, and Jackson inside the redzone and on 3rd down.
I think with those clearly defined roles that each player would see roughly 15 touches per game and if we can get them the ball 30 times a game, I see us being very successful this year...
We should be running the ball 35-40 times a game...

The success of the defense will dictate how much we can commit to the run game.
If it improves considerably, we should realistically be top 5 in rushing attempts. Last year we ranked 27th in the NFL in rush attempts, with 24.4/game.
If the defense improves, there's no excuse for that number not being above 30...
