Originally from Newark, NY... then moved to Buffalo. Currently living in Norfolk, VA. I've been coming to this site for years and have been bleeding buffalo blue for a good 20+ years but I just don't have enough time to post all the time and follow up on discussions.

Don't take this as a plug, but for anyone in the Hampton Roads area you should come check out my restaurant that I opened 3 months ago. It's called The Dirty Buffalo... and basically its Rochester n Buffalo mixed together!! We sell Dirty plates (garbage plates), real wings, and are open til 4 am on the weekends!! I'm also making it a Bills Backer Bar so football season is going to be fun as hell!

Nice... I live about 45 minutes west (Canajoharie Exit I-90). I have several family members that work at Proctor's.

WOW! This organization finally woke from it's slumber!

Born in San Leandro, CA during the height of the 49ers dynasty.

Moved to Johnstown, NY (Jets and Giants country) in 1990. I was a Bills fan before I completely knew what football was; my dad was born in Buffalo and grew up near Lockport.

Been in Johnstown ever since with the exception of going to Potsdam, NY for college.

First game at the Ralf: 09' home opener. Went with a Buc's fan so that was fun.

Gotta ask... with that history, what made you a Bills fan?

So many transplants, like me, and so many with family or friends in B'lo, but nothing in yours to suggest either one?

    Just curious...
I recently attended my first BBMB anonymous meeting but when I stood up to introduce myself as a Buffalo Bills addict, other members threw beer at me!!!!

Please let this tired message, which we see at least once a year, die. Why is this still stickied???

BTW I grew up in WNY with season tickets during the glory years. I now reside in eastern North Carolina.

Learned enough English/football rules to start following football by '91-'92 when what must have been the greatest team ever was always in the superbowl.. I was already a fan by the '93 superbowl when Don Beebe's effort in a losing cause sealed the deal on my fandom for life

I will not be moving out of Chautauqua or Cattaraugus County, though. This part of WNY is truly "God's own country", warts and all.
I was born and raised in Chautauqua County (Brocton) and yes it is a beautiful place. I always go to Mayville Park when I'm back home. I stayed in Jamestown the last time I was up that way (couldn't get a room in Dunkirk) across from the Arena at the Best Western. My grandmother and great grandmother were friends of Lucille Ball's family out that way. It's a small world. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that loves Chautauqua County.

I know I'm late to the party (31 pages or so) but I'm from a suburb of Buffalo, Hamburg, about 10 minutes from the Ralph...

I was born in the actual city of Buffalo, moved about 15 minutes south to Hamburg when I was younger. Trip right up route 20 for 5-10 minutes on the morning of the game makes the pre-game drive to tailgate much better.
