IDK, they did suck, but did they suck ENOUGH?

    ADOPT A BILL:
Cordy Glenn - let him play left tackle people. Geesh!

My expectations for our new coach are simple.
    1. Have the ability to locate decent stop gap players that are better players than the last ones who were on this roster for far too long.
    2. Win as many games as you can, but when you lose ... get beat, don't follow in the steps of your predecessors who seemed to try and find new and inventive ways to loose winnable games.

Yeah. He took power with the colts after the 97 season, so they already were horrible and had the number one pick before he took control.

    So yeah, they sucked enough.

At least a few people have mentioned that the guy took the Panthers to the NFC Championship in only their SECOND YEAR IN THE LEAGUE.

You do realize that Bill Polian wasn't the GM of the Colts last year, and hasn't been since 2009? So no, he wouldn't have planned for the situation because he hasn't been the GM to plan for the situation last year.

I see Daryl, you judge success by the rings, baby! Ignoring and minimizing all other accomplishments. That's funny, coming from one of the biggest Ralph Wilson supporters/defenders on here. What is Ralph? Oh that's right 46 years, no rings! Just slightly below crappy, simple fact.

Wonder how many owners have rings in that era?

A real GM doesn't cheat by trying to win with Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison. A real GM proves his worth by winning with Ryan Fitzpatrick and David Clowney
2011 - Smart posters warned everyone else, Fitzpatrick was a waste of a year. Now we all know.
2012 - Smart posters warned everyone else another season of Gailey was a waste of a year. Now we all know
2013 - Smart posters are warning everyone else another year of brandon/nix is a waste of a year. Next year we will all know.

You don't have like 10 straight years with winning seasons and playoff appearances and winning a SB with only one player. He built the team and they won. Period.

It amazes me that any of you can put this guy down. He got lucky?, are you crazy. His record of winning seasons speaks for itself.

For cripes sake get a grip.
Sorry but drafting Peyton Manning doesn't make you a genius, not preparing for Peyton finally succumbed to injury makes you an idiot

This is if and only if he doesnt get offered and take a job elsewhere first. I have a feeling Nix isnt going to be rushing to hand things over just yet and Whaley may not want to wait.
