    Default Parameters for Glenn

As draft choices across the league continue to sign, the contract parameters, if they needed to be narrowed down anymore have been for second-round pick Cordy Glenn. That’s because Chiefs second-round pick Jeff Allen has signed his four-year deal with Kansas City according to reports. Allen, an offensive tackle from Illinois went 44th overall, just [...]

If they had waited to announce Glenn as a LT instead of G until after he had signed, Buddy could've gotten a discount price.

Glenn is going to take the longest, due to his stance of "I am a LT". Our stance will be, "You could be an LT". There would be, I imagine, a little wiggle room interms of contract perameters, and incentives. I know everything is basically slotted in terms of base salary, but I have a feeling he will be getting some bonuses if he ends up our starting LT.

and that would be bad business and Glenn would not take that to lightly. But it doesn't really matter because he won't get more because he is a LT until next contract in about 4 years. THe rookie wage scale pays 1 more then 2, 2 more then 3, 3 more then 4, and so on regardless of position.

Our stance is "he is a LT". Buddy and Chan have both said that. Glenn is happy to be in Buffalo because they were one of a few teams that saw him at LT and G. He said that in his phone call after getting drafted. Buddy made a joke that they were the ones that said he was a G not a LT.

I think, with the new CBA, that Buddy will have all 9 signed before or during the OTAs next week(?). Can unsigned rookies participate in OTAs?

I don't think unsigned rookies can participate until they sign.

Thanks to the new CBA, it makes no difference. They could say he's a QB and he'd still get the same contract...
