    Default NFL. com QB Rankings

ranks teh AFC EAST 6th best QB conference, ranking it low because of Moore in Miami and Fitz........

I like fitz better than sanchez at this point, but they dont. I think Sanchez has a better more complte game but isnt there mentally....

wow did I just say I think fitz is #2 QB in the AFC East??? I mst be ill

Fitz is w/o a doubt the 2nd best in the AFCE atm. I have no idea how they rank Sanchez higher, albeit by only 1.

a sort of a Fitz compliment from mykidsdad, preceded by, well, a little bashing, of course. I choose to focus on the latter. Perhaps there is a glimmer of hope for mankind after all...

Pennington was a pain in the butt for awhile, but other than that, it's been Brady and 'others' for quite awhile.

    6th sounds right to me.

well when there are only 4, 1 spot is pretty important....not sure why they did either, I wish they would spend more time on these sort of things and give a more complete reasoning.

I would put Moore ahead of Sanchez based on his results but Moore might not even start next year with them drafting Tannehill.

ahhh, you know what..... I agree with you. Time for Fitz and this whole team to take a giant step forward. This is the first year that I truly feel some confidence with this team and that for once, they truly have the talent to be a playoff team. The only big question in my mind, considering all the new pieces they have, is how long it will take this team to mesh and build chemistry. The toughest part of their schedule comes pretty early, so let's hope they get it together quickly .

I cannot agree to any of that saying Fitz is the 2nd best when Matt Moore threw for 160 yards, 3 Td's with a 133 QB rating game 1, 217 yards, 2 TD's and 122 QB rating (also beat us twice- 0 int's). Mark Sanchez 230 yards, 1 TD, 92.9 QB rating in game 1, 180 yards 4 TD's, 90.2 QB rating (beat us twice-had 2 INT's). Hopefully those stats will change with the turnover of our Defense but those are some gaudy numbers put up by QB's who are supposed to be worse.

Its a sad, sad day when Fitz is the second best QB in the AFCEast.

On a side note........VY will soon be the second best QB in the AFCEast.
    Can you dig it.

the original article referenced in the OP is pretty interesting. The NFC appears poised to rule for a while. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d...P11_hot_topics
2011 - Smart posters warned everyone else, Fitzpatrick was a waste of a year. Now we all know.
2012 - Smart posters warned everyone else another season of Gailey was a waste of a year. Now we all know
2013 - Smart posters are warning everyone else another year of brandon/nix is a waste of a year. Next year we will all know.

Sanchez w/ Rex > Chan & Fitz. Not by much, but a little bit.

Sanchez w/ Chan or Belicheck > than Fitz...BY A LOT!!!!

Sanchez was the top rated QB outta high school, started for USC, and a high first round pick. He has been to 2 AFC championships (albeit with good defense) and he really hasn't had much in the way of talent around him on offense IMO.

If Sanchez ever gets out from under Rexy (ewww!) he wil be twice the QB he is today.

    Sanchez > Fitz

Fitz put up great numbers against our D too, in practice.

I am a Fitz fan but this is about right - he led the league with 23 interceptions last year. Cut the int's in 1/2 and he would be in the upper 1/2 of the league

In theory I think fitz is better than Sanchez but Sanchez has won in the playoffs and fitz has never even been there. This year is a HUGE year for fitz. No excuses he has talent around him
