Drew Brees needs 30mil because his momma is soooo poor she can't even pay attention. His mom is so poor she walks the road with one shoe and if you ask her if she lost a shoe, she says no, I found one. She uses cheerios for earrings. She's so poor when she heard about the last supper she thought she was out of food stamps, so poor the ducks throw bread at her. When she goes to KFC she has to lick other people's fingers, she had to open a gmail account just so she can eat the spam.


So you can all see why it is necessary for the saints to pony up not just because Brees has overcome his height and arm strength problem with being really good but more so because his mom has as much work as an aids ridden ******. . .too much?

You guys exagerate. The attitude is that they believe fitz is good enough with the improvements we've made to the team to get us into the playoffs. They never said he was the savior. Most of us who like Fitz would like a better QB, we just haven't liked most of the ones there the last two seasons.

This, Fitz isn't a savior, he's just the best legit solution at the time. Maybe we'll get a new guy in a couple years but until then QB is not our biggest problem

It may not be our biggest concern rite now? Can you tell me as of now, what is our biggest concern? A new guy in a couple of years? Lol. If fitz duplicates last years season, we seriously need to find our future QB. I'm all for giving him his opportunity, I do think he has earned that rite, but he has to show he can be more consistant if he wants too continue to be our starting QB! Either way, I think we draft a QB early in next years draft!

you can't convince those who have blind faith in the guy. In a way you can't blame them since we have been so starved for a QB but they will open their eyes this season and see he is what he is, a mediocre QB that would be best suited in the back up role.

The Saints owner to me is an embarrassment to the NFL. How do you not sign a contract with Drew Brees, I mean it's Drew Freaking Brees and you're to cheap to pay him "SERIOUSLY" Some of these OWNERS are just pathetic, Drew Brees Ray Rice how can you not give these kinda guy a contract.

Nothing a player or management says this time of year means a thing. It's all about jockeying for bargaining position. New Orleans is not letting their most popular player go while trying to deal with the whole headhunting scandal.

He actually has played extremely well in the last two preseason's, and shows promise but not as a Brees replacement. But he could hold down the fort and keep them competitive like a back-up should.

Then they drafted Canfield a couple years ago, but his arm is weak and he's nothing more than practice squad material.

I can name them, I certainly hope I'm not more knowledgeable than Saints fans.

My wife is from NOLA and is a huge Saints fan. Matter of fact we were on Burbon St when they won the superbowl. God I can't wait to have the feeling those fan had!

Anyway, she's had just about enough of Mr. Brees. The guy seems to forget that if it wasn't for the NFL, he'd be the brother on Napoleon Dynamite selling tupperware and model boats.
