It's the first day of OTAs; it's silly to try and make any kind of statements about anyone yet until the pads are put on. Rogers did look pretty good for a rookie at the end of last year, hopefully he continues his development. Hopefully McKelvin develops his ability to see the ball and either intercept or knock down more passes.
I didn't twist anything around. Three players were involved in this Bills news worthy story. A QB, WR and CB. In football its pretty typical that a defensive success is an offensive failure, and vice versa. The point of my comment you is that one can accurately make almost any practice play sound good or bad.
2011 - Smart posters warned everyone else, Fitzpatrick was a waste of a year. Now we all know.
2012 - Smart posters warned everyone else another season of Gailey was a waste of a year. Now we all know
2013 - Smart posters are warning everyone else another year of brandon/nix is a waste of a year. Next year we will all know.

It seems more likely you just wanted to take a shot at the QB from the way it was written.

Hope he can step it up and give us some more depth at the position. You always need competent corners.

It looks like they found a gem later in the draft. To me his one drawback is height, it's just getting to be so important at CB. Too bad the guy cant grow a couple inches.
I expect Mario Williams to get 100 sacks, $1,000,000 per sack, seems reasonable to me.
There is only one position that you should dole out $100,000,000 for and it starts with a Q. Just my opinion...
Show me a 2:1 TD to INT Ratio or show me a new QB

McKelvin has played far better in the NFL for several seasons than most board members credit him with. Rogers may be the cats meow at some point. He should have as much chance as anyone else, but lets see him get it done over the course of a least a part of an NFL season before we cut a decent player like McKelvin please.
Currently, McKelvin, imho, doesn't qualify as even decent. Rogers showed a good deal in limited opportunities at the end of last season. Currently, McKelvin makes about 3 bad plays for every two good ones - and that includes returns.
I fail to see that what I posted said anywhere that I see Rogers starting, anytime soon. I've actually gone on record recently a saying that if fit, the best CB on the roster currently, is McGee, who I would expect to be a starter, ahead of anyone else, providing he makes it through TC healthy. The other two guys I would expect to start, would be a combination of Gilmore and Williams, and I foresee the battle for the remaining spot as between McKelvin, Rogers and Brooks. Obviously that is in reference to sub-packages.

McKelvin might be the most physically gifted CB on the roster, even with the addition of Gilmore, but unless his ball skills improve drastically, he won't be on the roster after this year, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him cut in TC.
People should understand that the name on the front of the uniform is more important than the one on the back.

Why bother drafting worse players than you already have on your roster?
