    Merriman press conference? ok

Look, we all hope he does well but the only thing he is qualified to talk about, concerning his Bills tenure, is about getting free pay checks.

Well, Beast, there are two things to say here.

One, watch him. The guy has incredible enthusiasm. He really wants it.

Two, he says, and I know he's said it before, but he says he is 100%. He's doing everything, no pain, nothing. He says this year he will be the old Merriman.

I know, it means nothing. But if it happens, Lights Out on the right and Mario on the left, my goodness, there are going to be some meetings at the QB.

Like I said, we are all wishing him wel but I am not particularly intersested in what he has to say about anything until he shows he can be counted on.

    We will see come November.

like he said he hasn't gotten surgery until this year so the other years he was never 100%.

    Hopefully he is right!

You can tell by the look on his face that he's really feeling great, and it's not just talk. It's awesome to see such enthusiasm in him to get back to work and show what he can do.

I cant wait to see it.

I dont think he has ever said THIS particular injury was 100%.. He said in the interview that the explosion hasnt been there for 3 years because of the inflammation of the Achilles..

This is a very very good sign..

why am I suddenly imagining a front 7 of Kelsay, Mario, Kyle, Marcell, Merriman, Anderson and Barnett in the middle????

I recently attended my first BBMB anonymous meeting but when I stood up to introduce myself as a Buffalo Bills addict, other members threw beer at me!!!!

No matter what you think of Merriman it was a very good interview. The enthusiasm is there and the fact that he spent the offseason there with his teammates says a lot about him. I think he is finally healthy and ready to make a big contribution to the team.

He deserves it, he put in the work and did all the right things. I hope he has a huge year, I liked what I just saw in that interview.
I raised my kids as Bills fans, should social services be talking to me about that ? Is that a form of child abuse ?

I would have to say because you don't know very much about football.

None of those guys can play LB in 4-3 defense other than Barnett. We would get burned by tightends and slot recievers until the cows come home with that front 7, and every tailback we face would get to the edge all day long.

to me he doesn't seem super confident as much as hopeful but nervous. just based on me reading his expressions and demeanour.

for a once-super-violent player he comes across as rather thoughtful and composed.

i wish him (and thus our Bills) the best.

but i wont' expect it till it happens in September.

Yes.. and with Dareus and Williams collapsing the pocket. That is a vision of beauty. IF Merriman is the Merriman of old (and I do mean IF), that is 4 D Linemen that demand double teams. The numbers just don't add up. If he isn't, I still believe that Kelsay and Anderson will get the job done very well.

Last year he said he had a little pain didn't he? This year there is none, which means this is more than likely corrected. I am not extremely hopeful but I think he's got a great chance.

Well they said front 7 not font 7 in a 4-3. It could be six down which in certain situations, could be a good thing
