why does anyone bother with the jets fan? they're the lowest common denominator, (he won't know what that means). the dude is probably just taking a break from looking at porn in the library, figured out how the spell buffalo bills, and logged on. not worth the time.

    2011 Philadelphia Eagles
    2012 New York Mets.
baseball season is still early my friend the mets hanging on to the 2nd wildcard spot by a hair less than halfway thru the season does very ,ittle to prove anything bout predictions. they are about as close to last as they are first. I think we all know which is more likely...

I think most of us would be pretty happy with 9-7.
I am sorry but anyone satisfied with 9-7 in 2012 just cannot see the potential of the team!
11-5 or better as they need to compete for the division instead of you ...........................EXPERTS handing it to New England! 12-4 or 13-3 gets it done!

NE is still a better team. Sorry. Second place and 9-7 sound pretty good.

I said our defensive line is better on paper... Can you not read buddy? And we have 2 fantastic running backs. Freddy's only got 5 years of experience in the NFL, so he's got fresher legs. Do some research.

Hey mods, can you guys please ban this dude? He's getting annoying.

Jets fans bringing the board together in mutual disgust.
A new year, a new hope, go Bills.

Do you somehow feel that our predictions somehow affect reality? They don't.

9-7 is realistic. 11-5 is quite unlikely. Possible, sure, but very unlikely. Competing for the division is even less likely this year.

Everybody these days wants everything right now. The facts show, though, that team improvement takes time. How many teams in the last five years have improved by six games or more in one season and ended up with 11 wins or more? That would be uno. It's extremely unlikely.

I wouldn't say competing for the division is "even less likely". I'm going to go out on a limb and say this team, highly motivated this off season, will work extra hard at competing for the division. although a very tough task given the past and falling short doesn't mean it's less likely. miami is weak, the jests are due and the patsies have a capable yet aging marcia brady. if this team remains healthy and I know that's a big if, they could take second place and even give the patsies a run for their money for first place. I have that much confidence in this defense.

you are even more pessimistic, although could say realistic, but pessimistic none the less than myself. whom I may add have a more, and although cautious, optimism about this team this year.

lets just say I have a gut feeling the time has come for the changing of the guard in the afce.

I could be wrong, just as you could be and as you stated "Do you somehow feel that our predictions somehow affect reality" can go both ways with out a doubt, keep that in mind when you try to be so convincing of your own predictions.
