"especially some lower round picks" like Stevie Johnson? Just kidding, and I generally agree with what you've said, but the draft order equates to quality argument always bugs me. I mean sure, it's generally true, but not as often as some would suggest.

Couldn't agree more on the draft order thing.

Agreed & there is still another 1 of those players on the roster. A sad 2nd round pick at that.
Buffalo, where the boot lickers are well taken care of.
Franchise needs a change of attitude. Welcome EJ now lead the charge. Fitz is gone and the worst starting DE I've seen stay on the field after continually doing nothing is gone Now let's move forward B-Lo.

I sttill think Troup will be a player for us, but has been hampered with injury. Thus if say Heard plays better and takes his spot more power to him. I don't think it means Troup was a bust unless he can't make it somewhere else. I suspect if he gets cut here he'll play on another team. To me a draft bust is a guy like Mike Williams, who was a #5 pick and completely flamed out no matter what team he tried to play for. Troup isn't that kind of guy, at least not now.

He has a year left, 2 years on the PS before you have to be on a roster.

I'm curious is another team who has a hole at guard might take a flyer on him. If the Bills think he's got a talent to be a starter or good backup we may see him get even mroe limited reps in training camp/preseason.

IM, his ceiling is higher than Urbik, who's a decent player, but a player you'd think the Bills would be thinkign to upgrade at some point.
    ADOPT A BILL:
Cordy Glenn - let him play left tackle people. Geesh!

My expectations for our new coach are simple.
    1. Have the ability to locate decent stop gap players that are better players than the last ones who were on this roster for far too long.
    2. Win as many games as you can, but when you lose ... get beat, don't follow in the steps of your predecessors who seemed to try and find new and inventive ways to loose winnable games.

I don't think the Bills know what they have in him. the drafted him in they 7th round because he was a Gigantic human being and for his size a freak athlete. They wanted him to play NT and absorb blockers n the D-line.

He just didn't get it and they chose to move him to the other side of the ball after TC and half the season. Now he is an OG, who played some DT, some OT in college, and DT in TC last year.

I just think they love his potential, no one is making the mistake of thinking he is NFL ready for a 53 man roster. He still has a lot to learn before they can decide if he is worth a roster spot.

He was activated in week 17 because on our PS a team may take a flier on him, but they wouldn't take up a member of their 53 man roster going into the season to do that unless they were throwing in the towel already. There is no film on him to know how much he is progressing, who would take that risk?

At least with the two vets you know what you're getting.
Spencer Johnson is an assist......................Alex Carrington, a total BUST!
