Is Vince Youngg Vince Young's evil alter ego?
Speaking of garbage, whats with this troll name calling, I'm a born in Buffalo die hard Bill fan and last time I checked VY plays for the Buffalo Bills.
If you don't have enough common sense to realize Vince Young's skill set only makes the Buffalo Bills a better Football team then that's not my problem.
Anyone that disrupts threads and is incapable of having a discussion without resorting to name calling just because another poster happens to post something they disagree with is a troll.

As long as Vince is in a Bills uniform then good luck to him. As long as theres no drama. Did I want him here? Absolutely not. But thats not my decision to make. Obviously he will be in camp and if he shows up to play, he will deserve a spot. I dont think he is in the running for starter. But I will say, if he does, he does. Nothing I do or say will make a difference. Go bills.

I'm not trying to be technical. we have had this discussion in the past and have from what I can gather, been able to keep it on a level without resorting to disrespecting one another.
but first and foremost he technically doesn't play for the team. he's trying out for the back up position and most, including yourself feel he should have no problem beating out Thigpen. but keep in mind that Gailey has said, although some of his work seems to be impressing him, he is still having a hard time(careful to use struggling here)learning the what now seems to be a more complex playbook and that Thigpen does have the advantage in that department. Gailey, knowing Thigpen from working with him in the past, just might be more comfortable with a back up that can and has adapted to his offense and still could choose Thigpen over VY. it remains to be seen and should be an interesting battle. also, we really don't know if VY can make the team better as he has in his recent tenure with the eagles not shown he is capable of solidifying even a back up position there or he wouldn't of been released in favor of Trent Edwards.
it's evident you have high hopes for him and would like to see him make the team, that's your right and shouldn't be disrespected for that , but until he actually does make the team you may want to refrain from saying he plays for the Buffalo Bills.
just behind JP Losman... LOL
look, everyone loves the bomb TD play, but keep in mind that it's only
thrown 2-3 times per game at the very most.

Wow. Some people need to relax here. The guy is posting that YES, one of "OUR" players is good at something, and all you guys do is get all defensive and make sarcastic remarks. Yes Fitz is our guy, but if anyone was to step in a make a difference when Fitz is off his game, it'll be Vince. We should be happy that he's making strides to be a better QB. At the end of the day no1 knows what will happen.
No, its not ok but that doesnt mean it cant be turned around. Manning led the league a couple years ago and he turned it around. Favre led the league every year. *Disclamer for you posers***This is not a comparison... its just saying that it is possible to turn it around. And yes, I agree that he is a better option then Thigpen. He may end up being better then Fitz. I just dont think that he will be better THIS year.
Fitz ranked 12th in 20+ yards and 14th in 40+ yards last year.
this guy has always had a strong arm but he lacks mental escapability and skills that make people believe in him. fitz just lacks skills !
"lets end this playoff drought"
Shockingly, it takes more than a nice deep ball arm to play QB in the NFL.
Regardless, he has been a winner and Fitz never has. I would rather see Young play.
I am not a fan of either Fitz or Young. I see you are a relatively new poster. You should understand that preferring Young over Fitz makes you a hater of Fitz. Oddly preferring Fitz over Young does not make you a Young hater. I am not sure why that is. But it seems to be a board rule.
2011 - Smart posters warned everyone else, Fitzpatrick was a waste of a year. Now we all know.
2012 - Smart posters warned everyone else another season of Gailey was a waste of a year. Now we all know
2013 - Smart posters are warning everyone else another year of brandon/nix is a waste of a year. Next year we will all know.
ADOPT A BILL:
Cordy Glenn - let him play left tackle people. Geesh!
My expectations for our new coach are simple.
1. Have the ability to locate decent stop gap players that are better players than the last ones who were on this roster for far too long.
2. Win as many games as you can, but when you lose ... get beat, don't follow in the steps of your predecessors who seemed to try and find new and inventive ways to loose winnable games.

As it has been pointed out time and time again.... Winning is a team stat. Statistically VY is worse then Fitz. If you take a winning team and plug in a statistically worse QB, what do you think happens? VY TD/INT ratio is worse then Fitz. Fitz biggest problem is his INTS. If Fitz cut back those INTs last year then he would have finished in the top 12.
You would rather see a statistically worse QB, that knows nothing about our offense and has no experience in our system or its players.... over someone who knows our offense inside and out, has 2 years of experience in the system and its players and only needs to cut back on his INTs.... Not very smart.
So one guy has a career rating of 74.4 and his teams are 31-19 when he starts and has made the playoffs and the other has a 75 career QB rating and his teams are 17-31-1when he starts. There is something when you look at the stats too. Young has 7 4th quarter comebacks, and 13 game winning drives he has led, and Fitz only has 5 4th quarter comebacks and 6 game winning drives.

Vince Young undoubtedly has been a more clutch player and amore reliable leader then Fitzpatrick, it is evident with his leading his team to winning late in games.
